Tohono O'odham House: historic adobe close to UAZ with fire pit and more!

Fantastic place and great location.

We had a great time at the house, and Kevin seemed to think of everything you could possibly need. We especially loved the game room with foosball and the record player. Also great backyard for morning coffee.

Three months at the Tohono O'odham House went by way too fast. The location was perfect for us and felt very safe. Whole Foods, Walgreens, the University and a great art film theater, all within a mile.The kitchen is well stocked and there's a ton of literature describing local attractions. The beds were comfortable and back yard, very private. Host, Kevin, a charming fellow, clearly wants guests to enjoy their time in Tucson. We wouldn't hesitate to return here. It was perfect for us.

We had a wonderful first experience with VRBO thanks to this amazing rental. The house had everything we needed—and more! We were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of amenities. The spacious backyard offers several seating areas, making it perfect for relaxing and socializing. Kevin was the perfect host from start to finish. We look forward to returning to this special getaway!

Really great rental with all the amenities you need...and more. Kevin really thought of everything. Home was homey in the best way possible. The house is close to a ton of amenities, in a quiet neighborhood with a great coffee shop within walking distance. Bed was comfortable, and the place very clean...two things that are hard to tell when booking. Even with Kevin being out of state, he was very accessible to communicate with.

We stayed 3 nights in October. Kevin's place was just perfect. He has thought of so many little things that made the stay so unique. Not the least of which was the fully stocked fridge! We wish we had more time to enjoy the backyard fire pit. Thanks for a most excellent stay!

A wonderful property and host. Will return!

We’ve stayed in rentals all over the world, and this one instantly became one of our favorites. I’ve always been a little hesitant about Tucson, but this area, and especially this historic landmark, completely won us over. The house is decorated so beautifully to match the era it was built, and you can feel the thought put into every detail. Nothing was missing, whether it was cooking, cleaning, or just enjoying a drink, it had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Initially you walk in and you think its tiny, but keep going and you are constantly surprised. Thank you Kevin, we are so bummed we cannot stay during Parents weekend because it's already rented, but 5 out of 5 starts for sure.

The owner was extremely nice and the place was perfect with a really nice backyard for gatherings. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a very welcoming place, well appointed, all the convenience of being home. Loved the DeGrazio and Gorman prints, books, etc..Plenty of adult beverages and cozy spots to relax!

Kevin has a wonderful, well-appointed place; we’d certainly stay again. He’s a generous, responsive, hospitable owner. Backyard is lovely and kitchen has everything needed. Easy access, great neighborhood.

In every way. Only suggestion is to put the monitor under the TV. It was only on our last day that we spied it behind the couch.Otherwise, very well equipped, including the blender. Thanks!

Loved the vibe of this super cute home. Very quaint and clean. Above and beyond with refreshments and amenities. We loved the southwest mixed with mid century modern decor. Beds were comfy and the fresh bread and eggs a surprise bonus. Would definitely stay again.

We loved this home, its yard, and all of the little extras and homey touches that the owner provided. Kevin was great to work with. Overall it was a top notch experience on a budget.

Kevin was a wonderful host, he had great communication about our stay and amenities/recommendations. The house is fantastic, lovely, clean, lots of amenities we didn’t even use (stocked bar, backyard/fire pit, entertainment room). We were there for work, so not much time to play, but this would be great for someone who wanted more options than the usual offerings. I l visit Tucson every year and would be thrilled to stay here again.

Great VRBO. Centrally located, quiet historic neighborhood, and well appointed with everything we needed for a two week stay. Beds comfortable, kitchen stocked well, and welcome food and drink to get you started was a plus. Backyard, game room with foosball table with records and bar were fun

This house and gardens were delightful. The house was tastefully decorated with local art. The neighborhood was calm with wonderful desert landscaping. We absolutely adored it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at this property. Kevin provided many amenities often not found, particularly stocked beverages and bar, and makings for tortillas which delighted us. The backyard is large and private with many sitting areas plus a fire pit. Everything was great. Kevin was very easy to contact , readily answering any questions. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to others.

Cool historic house in quaint neighborhood 10 minute walk to restaurants, short drive to UA and excellent hiking / mountains. House was well stocked, fun and comfortable with huge, nice, desert backyard. Liked how host managed / communicated. Highly recommended 2 bed / 1 bath for most groups of 4.

Kevin's place reflects a love of Tucson's special culture which makes it a truly special stay. This is a homey and beautiful place with gorgeous design and all the amenities -- including bar, game room, two comfortable bedrooms and an expansive back yard/garden with fire pit where you can spend your relaxing evenings. Kevin is a great host, always available, and makes the check in easy. Better: he has stocked the kitchen and fridges (two!) with goodies and drinks, incl a wide selection of teas, coffees, beer and drinks. You've got everything you need here for a memorable stay. We've travelled all over, and we'd count this as one of the best hosts and best stays ever. Highly recommended.

This was my first time staying at a Vrbo rental or any thing like this so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Wow…Kevin hit it out of the ballpark! The place was so nice & every detail was thought of. The beds were comfortable & the place was spotless. It really felt like home away from home

It’s an amazing little place that reminds me of my home back in San Jose. We loved the old Tucson/mid-century/cozy/southwesty-but-not-too-overdone aesthetic sprinkled throughout. The backyard, the game-room, the cleanliness, very easy to communicate with the host, conveniently located, peaceful neighborhood... Absolutely enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future,

We enjoyed back-to-back weekends at this house recently. It's a great location to UofA, very clean, has a nice welcome amenity, plenty of supplies and a very nice fully stocked beverage refrigerator. We appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality!

My family and I had a great stay in Tucson at Kevin’s property! The house was homey and the perfect walking distance to a friend’s wedding. Also in a great central location in Tuscon in general. Kevin was super responsive and accommodated our early check in with our one year old after a long day of travel! Definitely recommend!

Excellent property with all of the amenities! Great centralized location near all of our planned (and unplanned) activities. Nice outdoor (backyard) setting perfect for hot drinks in the morning and cold drinks in the evening. Firm mattresses that provided a good night's sleep. The host was very responsive and made certain we were well taken care of prior to arrival. An absolute recommendation to anyone staying in Tucson.
