Mountain View, Arkansas
Brand new tiny house with beautiful mountaintop views. Come see what this new trend is all about and test out a tiny house for yourself! 1 bedroom, 1 bath, full kitchen and additional outside shower. Front porch and chairs outside to enjoy the view. The great thing about a tiny house is that you have all the amenities - just in a cozier space! We'll work hard to make sure your stay here is pleasant.
My husband has completed the landscaping projects around the Tiny house. The guests have their own parking space, a privacy fence and gated entrance into the beautifully landscaped gardens. Enjoy sitting on the poured slab with the lawn chairs to take in the gorgeous, mountaintop views! Take the walkway around the front of the Tiny house and enjoy the screened 3-season patio! Comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the outdoors without the Bugs!!
Outdoor grilling area provided and gardening plants to enjoy.
It's not just the experience of living small -you also get an idea of what you can do with your outside space to enjoy a simpler way of life!
I stayed in the tiny home for three nights. It was a wonderful experience! The location is great with beautiful views. Cathy and Paul were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend the tiny home!
We had a wonderful experience at the Tiny Home on the Mountaintop. It was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. The hosts, Cathy and Paul, were very nice and welcoming. The area is close to attractions. We enjoyed the peace and quite that the property offered. The outdoor shower was a plus! We also enjoyed seeing deer every morning and every evening. The sunsets are amazing as well. Highly recommend!
Great little mini home! We wanted to try the experience and it did not disappoint. Small but very functional. Amazing view and quiet! Will absolutely be back.
Easy to get to but there is about a mile of loose gravel for bikers to be cautious on. Property was immaculate! Owner was very kind and welcoming. The enclosed patio is a great place to read and the swing is perfect for watching the sunset. We even had a little fox come up! There is an outdoor shower that was fun to try. Inside is very small, but well laid out and comfy. We have always said we wanted a tiny house so this was a great way to try it out. House comes well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The only thing I needed was a hair dryer, but wasn't a big deal. Bed was comfy. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for your service to our country and for sharing your home!
Thought I would only be able to shower outside but there is a shower inside as well. It was very relaxing and enjoyed painting the scenery.
The tiny house was perfect for a quiet weekend away. The views were amazing and the outdoor space was very relaxing. There were so many spots to choose from to sit and read or just take in your surroundings. The outdoor shower was a nice touch! How many opportunities will you have to take a shower outdoors while overlooking the mountains? Paul and Cathy were great hosts and you could tell they took great pride in what they do. Paul really did a great job building the tiny house! We hope to go back again. Are you uncertain about trying the tiny house? Do it! Trust me, you won't regret it!
From the initial contact to check out, everything was great! Cathy and Paul were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The tiny home was a great experience and my wife and I made some lifelong memories there! A MUST if you're looking for somewhere/something a little different but awesome! And the view is beautiful!
We had a fantastic time at the tiny house. Kathy and Paul were the best hosts. They were incredibly gracious and not only met us the first night but helped us with our luggage. Kathy even baked cinnamon rolls and shared with us our first morning. Paul walked with us and shared a lot of history about the property. I've watched the show about tiny houses many times and this was our first time staying in one. It is perfect for two as the description states. We have stayed with many VRBO properties and met lots of really great hosts but Kathy and Paul are by far the best. I hate that the previous couple had a bad experience but I think their assessment is off. The location is perfect, the tiny house is perfect (for two) and the hosts are perfect. I recommend this place for couples looking to get away and enjoy great southern hospitality. We didn't see inside the other cottages offered by Kathy and Paul on the same property but they look just as well maintained and also more suitable for families with children.
My family rented the tiny house. When I booked through VRBO, I chose this rental because it said that children were welcome. When we arrived, the owners acted shocked that we brought our two children with us. They made us feel terrible about the kids and said they didn't allow kids to stay there even though the rental description states that children are welcome. They gave us the key and said we could stay, but when we checked out, they said we wouldn't be getting our safety deposit back because we breached contract with the kids. They were fine with our kids when they took our money to stay there. The owners were rude, unethical, and obviously don't belong in the hospitality industry. Additionally, we were charged a premium price when the area around our rental was unlandscaped and treacherous. The house wasn't secured properly to the ground. Stay here at your own risk!
