It felt a little gloomy when we arrived. Their pictures made it look much brighter. Would have appreciated a cozier blanket. You need strength to climb the ladder into the loft area where the bed is. Some people with mobility or other issues would not be able to climb the ladder. Not my cup of tea, but I’m sure it would work for others. Read the description carefully, I admit I did not and was surprised that it was actually a tiny house, not a cozy cottage on the water.

Cute little tiny house. With a shelterred little patio. There is an awesome new sharp kitchen knife i left behind!!!l. The shower is smaller - to go with the tiny house - so you should be so too! Also that has got to be one of the tiniest bathroom sinks ever! (And it’s the only one in the house - so a little awkward for cleaning the well equipped kitchen things). Ladder to the loft FYI. Overall a lovely place to stay with wifi and câble TV!! Marc

Very unique tiny home. The ambience of the boardwalk was quiet and lovely to be by the water. The restaurant choice are limited. Instructions were good. Though they asked us to undo the linen before leaving and for the price we paid, we should not have to do that. The sheets were not good quality. But the rest was excellent and clean. Parking is a little inconvenient, nothing can be done about that... but perhaps a cart?

We booked for 2 nights and left after one night. We were very disappointed. As we arrived, the tiny house was freezing. They had the air conditioning blasting. We couldn't get the TV working. We sent an email to find out if we were missing a step or what was the deal to connect. We never got a reply. We were hoping to have breakfast in the tiny house, however there was no toaster. There is room for one but for some reason; they don't provide one. The only dishes provided are: 3 knifes, 3 teaspoons, 2 bowls, 2 glasses, 2 wine glasses and a bunch of cups. No dishcloth or teatowel. Not to mention, that you sleep right on the floor, on a very thin mattress which is way too short. One of us got up the following morning with a terrible backache. We would not recommend this place to anyone. We were looking for an adventure, well let's just say that this wasn't the type of adventure we were anticipating. The tiny house is located on the boardwalk but the boardwalk is closed. We were told that it is unsafe. What a place!!!

Darling tiny home not good for elderly visitors due to sleeping loft up steep ladder (not doable for 80 yr olds).

A unique stay in a great location. Everything you need in a compact way. You just need to be careful on the ladder with the middle of the night trip to the toilet!

We had a wonderful stay here in the heart of Chéticamp. It was quite special to be on the water and be able to sit out with a drink in the lovely little outdoor space. It is mostly private on three sides, with many people walking by enjoying the boardwalk, but that didn’t bother us. We picked up pizza from next door which was great, and were in close walking distance to a great little cafe down the street, and the Doryman pub a ways further for some drinks and music. The space is tiny and I wouldn’t recommend it if you are a tall individual. The loft bed was comfy buy may be a challenge for those with mobility issues or if you’re over 6ft. Difficult to do the dishes in the small bathroom sink, but other than that the amenities were good. Great wifi, TV you could cast to, clean bathroom with lots of towels, mini fridge. No ability to cook in the space but that just means you need to check out the great local restaurants! Would recommend this place!

Great location….morning coffee on the boardwalk watching the sunrise… very cool. Great town and close to the park with several restaurants within walking distance. As they stated it is a ladder to get to the loft so some challenges at night but ok. Mattress needs to be improved. Overall if your able to handle a ladder fun spot for a night or 2.

Tiny home is as reflected. Great location & property itself has basic amenities although no sink for dishes. Bathroom is also tiny with very narrow bathroom sink but plenty of hot water to clean up & shower. Loft for sleeping was fine although I would recommend possibly bringing an extra blanket. Property is fine for two people who are on the small/short side. If you are a big or tall person, it might be a bit uncomfortable. Outside deck area is nice and ample.

My husband is 6’3” and while it was tight we still had plenty of room. The location was perfect for enjoying a Cheticamp sunset and within walking distance of restaurants and cafes. The home was clean and we loved having both an indoor and outdoor area to relax. The only thing missing was a screen in the upstairs window to let in some fresh air but keep out the bugs. Instead we used the AC unit. We would definitely return and recommend you give tiny house living a try!
