Stayed Dec 24, 2025The Tikita Family House is in an excellent location in La Fortuna, within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants. We loved how spacious it was for our family of five, and the beautiful outdoor area with the hot tub was a wonderful retreat after a long day of activities. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Stayed Dec 17, 2024Please do not get a unit in the area with a pool, it is too cold to hang out in. Get a unit with a hot tub!! This is a rare find for the area. You will not regret it.

Stayed May 18, 2024This was a great property for the 6 people in our family. It was very clean. We liked having the ability to cook some of our meals, so we didn't have to eat out all the time. It is in a good location, which allowed us to walk to get food from the store and to restaurants for dinner. We booked excursions and had no problems with tour operators finding the property to pick us up. The hot tub was great for relaxing and cooling off in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to stay in La Fortuna.

Stayed Mar 11, 2024This house was in a great location to allow for walking exploration of La Fortuna. It is also a quick drive from all the tourist spots. One room is in a separate building but it worked out nice for our crew. Hot tub was easy to run and the whole location felt safe and secure. We would stay again.

Stayed Jan 1, 2024We stayed 3 nights at Tikita House near the end of our vacation. The property was exactly as described; clean and accommodated our 4 adults and 4 teens perfectly. This property has a very central location and easy walking around Fortuna town. Had some great meals, Danny recommended a few and Snapper’s was epic. We did a zip line at Arenal, lunch and walk around the observatory, Don Juan coffee/cocao tour, night jungle walk and enjoyed some time at El Salto rope swing. The hot tub was perfect after a day of touring and adventure. Great times in La Fortuna and at Tikita House…thanks Danny.
