Stayed Sep 18, 2025Incredible stay! Only thing to note is that the entrance is very easy to miss (it's on a curve on the highway) - make sure your GPS is correct! Would definitely come back at any time. Hosts were so responsive, helpful, and there were so many local spots to hit.

Stayed Sep 14, 2025House was great!! Secluded and private but not too secluded. Very comfortable and relaxed area. House was very clean and neat when we got there. Host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly! Deck overlook by woods and lake was great area to sit and relax with dogs. Close to traverse city (15-20 minutes) and close to sleeping bear approx. (30 minutes). Several very nice trails close by for hiking. Good access to food nearby in lake ann and traverse. Would highly recommend this place!

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Beautiful home, plenty of space for us all. Appreciate all the attention to details and supplies.Not much of a lake view from the house because of the trees and getting down the 33 steps to the lake was challenging but when I did it was beautiful and the water was so clear. Definitely could’ve used more info about the amount of steps going into the house and down to the lake. But it is a wonderful house in the woods.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025What a lovely cabin, set amongst the treetops, with views of Long Lake and your own dock! Plenty close to Traverse City but with that secluded lake-cabin feeling! The property was exactly as pictured and had all the amenities needed for a great family trip! 10/10!

Stayed Sep 23, 2023Summer Lark was a wonderful rental property. Tim was very good about communicating property specifics and the entire family had a memorable vacation (including the 2 fur babies). Great view of lake from the house, excellent dock located on the quiet north end of Long Lake. The house was located conveniently to all the Traverse City attractions. Would highly recommend this property - thanks Tim!!!

Stayed Jul 8, 2023Great home nestled in the woods on beautiful Long Lake. Our group of four adults and two kids had a great week here. Summer Lark is very well-maintained, well-stocked, and has plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed dinners on the deck, playing in the water, and cruising around the lake. Great location for other activities too. Owner Tim is spot on with communication-always prompt in responding to questions.
