We are currently not hosting local residents.
There is an additional guest fee per person/night for the 4th guest and up. The guest fee will be calculated on the quote breakdown when entering the correct guest count into the reservation or inquiry. Only registered, paying overnight guests are permitted at the residence. The guest fees allow us to offer the home at cost effective prices to small and large groups (example, a home can sleep 10+ guests but a lower rate allows 2-4 guests to rent it as well). Please ensure you have the correct guest count and make any changes before the start of your reservation. Refunds for additional guest fees are under the host’s discretion.
Pet dogs are allowed for a $35 fee per dog per day, max $200/month per dog. Due to system configuration, we may need to adjust the pet fee (for stays over 1 day and/or multiple dogs) after your reservation is made. Please notify us upon booking if you are bringing your pet pup. Pet damages/stains are subject to additional fees for replacement, etc. For insurance purposes, please confirm your pet is not one of the following: Akita, Chow, American Staffordshire Terrier, Pitbull, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Wolf hybrids, Presa Canarios, or any mix of these breeds/any dog with a bite history.
Some sound can travel between the two sides of the duplex. We observe quiet hours from 9PM to 9AM. If there is a noise issue, please contact us 24/7 and vice versa, we will contact you. If you perceive noise will be an issue, please consider renting a home that does not have another unit under the same roof.
Start-up quantities of amenities such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. Replenishment is up to the guest as they see fit.
There is no handicap access. There are steps to enter the front and back porches of the house and no bedrooms or bathrooms on the first floor.
Guests with allergies and related medical issues and/or sensitivities- we cannot 100% guarantee that the vacation rental is free of pet dander, cigarette smoke, air fresheners/cleaning product scents, or any other elements that may trigger a medical problem or sensitivity.
House guests have parking for the 2 spots directly behind your side of the duplex – please stay on your half of the parking lot.
$29.00 non-refundable Damage Waiver fee is required for all reservations. Damage waiver covers up to $1,000.00 of accidental damage. Damages deemed intentional or by negligence will not be covered by the damage waiver and will be the sole responsibility of the guest. If Ozone machines are needed due to strong odors of any sort, a $500.00 fee will be incurred by the guest.

We are available to guests by email, phone, or text. We know our neighborhood very well (!) and care about our community- let us know when you need something or have questions!
The Short North Arts District is one of the Midwest’s best kept secrets. There is a huge variety of unique shops, bars and restaurants, and art galleries along High Street and a number of annual events that take place year-round. We have a thorough list of recommendations in the house to local bakeries, cafes, and restaurants.
The Short North is made up of several historic neighborhoods; this home is located in Weinland Park, a cool, urban area on the East side of High St above 5th Ave. Weinland Park still has its edgy, up-and-coming vibe- there is a lot of construction and development still underway, real estate is hot here despite its sometimes worn look. You will see a lot of renovated homes as well as ones not-yet-touched. The neighborhood is home to a mix of young professionals and families. This apartment is in walking distance to High Street and N. 4th Street coffee shops, restaurants, and bars!
IS THE NEIGHBORHOOD SAFE
We live nearby and feel the neighborhood is relatively safe, but it can feel a bit intimidating if you are not use to city living. Please note this is the city- we do have petty crime in the Short North and University area, and always advise to practice not leaving valuables in your car (we have not had any issues at our apartments, I state this because we are in the city) and walk with a buddy at night on well-lit, busy roads such as High Street, Summit, and 5th Ave.

My friends and I stayed here to be close to High street so we could celebrate the New Year. The unit was clean and comfortable and was in a great location if you want to be able to walk to night activities. If I came back to town, I'd stay here again!
This is a cute space close to everywhere we needed to be - stores, campus, our friends, etc. We had a great visit and would stay again!!
What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get, a clean, comfortable home. The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to not have to purchase some of the basics salt, pepper, oil. I was delighted with the mini coffee bar and snack basket. The welcome note on the board was sweet. Plenty of towels. I would rent and recommend this property / company.
Good place for stay that kept us close to the restaurants and close to the show sites.
The place is small but very clean and laid out well, and close to the University and night life. The neighborhood is very walkable. I would definitely recommend.
This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it’s great for attending an osu football game It’s a clean comfy, well stocked little place for a couple. With only 1 bathroom a family or a group might be hard The electronic locks make entry easier but know that they are disabled at exactly 10am on checkout day. After loading the car we went back in to grab trash we forgot and at 10:02 the code couldn’t lock the door. A 5-10 minute grace period might be a good idea. Other than that we had no issues
Everyone had a nice time and a wonderful stay
Perfect location near North bar district just close enough to walk (stumble) home from the bars without the noise at night if you decide to stay in. Parking spots were really convenient. Very comfortable beds slept 5 adult males pretty easily. Backyard was perfect to relax in. Would recommend to any group of 5-6 adults.
This house was quaint and clean. Great location for Ohio State student move-in. Central to campus, good food and downtown. Only issue was speed racers with loud cars late Friday and Saturday night. Management was nice and responsive.
We were up to a variety of things while in Columbus and never had to use our car. It was perfect!
The property itself was fantastic. Had some technical difficulties when it came to communicating with the hosts. Also surprised by the number and complexity of the rules. Otherwise had a great stay, very comfortable.
My two adult sons and I stayed here while attending March Madness games at Nationwide Arena. The directions sent were very helpful to find the parking area behind the house. The house is very nice inside. Some people might be nervous at the neighborhood it is in. But we didn’t have any issues. Plenty of room with three bedrooms and loved having the upstairs/downstairs space. We used the nearby Kroger for groceries. Definitely a perk!
Great place, location at a reasonable price. Hosts were excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
It was perfect for our short stay and close to the venue where we had concert tickets!
We had a great stay at this property, we had one minor issue that was resolved very quickly. I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in the short north, close walking distance to bars and restaurants.
