Theater Room + Fire Pit: Anchorage Family Retreat

Our stay could not have been any better!!!! Properly was stocked beyond anyone’s expectations. Never seen anything like it. The entire process was flawless. We had an amazing vacation stay at this fabulous house in Anchorage. It was exactly as pictured and described only better. It was a perfectly placed home base for our travels outside of town. Our host, Meegan was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and travel information before our trip and provide provided excellent communication which I truly appreciated. The house came ready with everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well stocked (such an unexpected treat) and the beds were super comfortable. So many great spaces in this house such as the cinema room, the library/reading room, and the beautiful outside deck. We had an amazing vacation and highly recommend this house and host!

Home was absolutely wonderful! Enjoyed our stay in Anchorage to celebrate the end of the Texas4000 cancer awareness cycle ride from Austin, Texas. Host was readily accessible for questions/clarifications. Media room is fantastic! Home was clean and very comfortable. Everything one would need for your stay! Beds are comfy. Anchorage is breathtaking. Highly recommend home!!!

This VRBO absolutely was as close to perfection as it gets. Everything about it exceeds expectations. The location is in a guiet neighborhood with easy access to all major roads. The house is immaculately furnished and anything you could possibly need is provided. The theater room is off the scale great, with 100’s of movies provided to watch. And last of all the host, Meegan was instantly responsive to any inquiries we had . There is just not a high enough rating to do justice to this VRBO and it was key to our Alaskan vacation being an overwhelming success.

We had SUCH a wonderful experience staying in this home, blew our expectations out of the water truly. Not only is Alaska a beautiful state, but this home made us feel right at home. The spaciousness and amenities were more than what we needed with 4 guests, the kitchen had everything and more, and the movie room made for an elevated movie experience (also the darkest room during the bright summer Alaskan nights ha)! This location was perfect as we wanted to explore the smaller surrounding towns, everything was about an hour and a half to two hours away. The neighborhood lent itself to slow drives admiring the homes while we enjoyed the more suburban side of Anchorage. Not to mention there’s a landing strip for small airplanes at the front of the neighborhood! So cool. We would definitely recommend this home to those looking to visit Alaska with a larger group!

We came to Anchorage to enjoy our son's wedding and were pleasantly surprised by the care and warmth of Meegan and Scott owners of this beautiful property. The view and location is amazing and the hospitality during our stay was unmatched. The property was clean, comfortable and quiet. The host was available when contacted and very helpful with local things to do. Really had a great trip in large part due to these wonderful accommodations. OMG ...WORDS JUST CAN'T EXPLAIN THIS HOUSE AND MY SECOND STAY IN A TWO WEEK SPAN, THIS WAS ONCE AGAIN THE BEST GETAWAY I EXPERIENCED. ,MY GUEST AND I HAD A WONDERFUL , FUN FILLED WEEKEND FOR MY 54TH BIRTHDAY. I WILL ALSO STAY HERE OR RECOMMEND THIS AIRB&B TO ANY AND EVERYONE THAT'S IN SEARCH OF A CLEAN, HOMELY PLACE TO STAY. THE OWNER MEEGAN IS A GREAT HOST, SHE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR YOU. THIS PLACE IS REALLY WORTH IT AND THEN SOME.
