Stayed Jun 9, 2026Lovely property. We enjoyed the farm animals and exploring the gravel road and nearby river. Beautiful area. We hope to be back sometime. I had limited cell phone service, but the WiFi worked great. Host left some snacks and some eggs from their hens, which was a sweet touch. Kitchen was fully functional, which saved money eating out for every meal, but there were some good restaurants nearby — particularly Dalaya (Thai place in Sylva). Take a look at the guest book for previous guests’ recommendations.

Stayed May 8, 2026Such a cute space with everything we needed for a weekend stay. The apartment was Clean, well stocked, comfortable, and beautiful. The hosts left a sweet note, fresh eggs from their farm, complimentary water botttles and a few basic cooking ingredients were in the pantry. Would %stay again.

Stayed Apr 24, 2026Beautiful home and farm! Peaceful and relaxing place perfectly located away from everything but still close enough to get to everything! Merle the dog brought so much joy when she’d briefly visit us for belly scratches. We enjoyed watching the sheep and baby goats as well! We were very comfortable and would definitely return!

Stayed Nov 28, 2025When we arrived, we were greeted by a sweet card and gifts from the host. There were adorable sucker treats for the kids, granola bars, oatmeal and fresh farm eggs!! The kitchen was stocked with coffee, teas, creamers and sweeteners. The pantry held some good necessities and the bathroom had stock of any extra care products/items we would need. There was even a lint roller in the bedroom! The upstairs, loft area, was a hit with our 5-year-old! There was a kitchen with food and loads of cars he could drive around. He and our daughter also met Merle and they loved him! We were sad to not see him again before we left but they gave him lots of love and pets. Seeing the chickens was also a nice surprise for them. The only note to be aware of is that the top windows of the main room will let in some sunlight. It’s a beautiful wake up call, as long as you aren’t trying to sleep in on the couch. The whole weekend felt like we were at our home away from home. We had a great time and will be back next year!
