The Wadsworth in National Historic District of Madison, Indiana.

This was a perfect home for or 3 day getaway. The location was very close to town and the river and was very comfortable for us. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Madison.

Home was perfect for a couple getaway, the house was spotless and well equipped. Location was great for walking to meals and shopping and enjoying walks along the river.

The property was very clean and the host was very attentive that we had a question or needed help with the front door lock. We will most likely come back.

My daughter got married in Madison. We rented the Wadsworth so that she had a nice place to get ready. Everything was perfect. There was a beautiful Christmas tree in the living room and there was plenty of space for the hairdresser to come and fix hair. The bathroom had great mirrors and lighting for my daughter to do her makeup. It snowed and the owners made sure that there was salt on the sidewalks and that they were clear. I couldn't think of a better place for my daughter to get ready for her wedding. We always have a great experience when we rent this house.

The house was spotless. Great location in downtown Madison. Nice covered outdoor patio. Very quiet neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay at The Wadsworth. The house was clean and comfortable. It is located near the Ohio River walk and downtown Madison. Perfect for exploring on foot! We also hiked at Clifty Falls State Park which was less than 10 minutes.

Our stay was perfect. The house is well maintained and cared for. It was just as pictured. The house was stocked with all of our needs. Thank you for your hospitality. The location is on a quiet street and we were able to walk to all of our desired destinations in town.

We spent 9 wonderful days exploring the Madison area with this property being our base camp !! Very clean and comfortable for 4 adults ! The hostess was most accommodating which we appreciated very very much!Great home in a beautiful area of historic Madison !

We would give 10 stars if we could. The Wadsworth was the BEST rental we’ve ever had in Madison, and we’ve been visiting yearly for the last 30 years. The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished with very comfy beds, plush towels and even those little toiletries you might have forgotten to bring. The kitchen is very nicely equipped and the living room is perfect for a little evening TV. We especially loved the outside seating areas in the backyard and on the front porch. We spent some time in front just watching Madison go by. Thank you, Mona and Jeff, for sharing this lovely place with us.

We stayed 2 nights at the Wadsworth home. It was adorable on the outside & welcoming on the inside! The perfect size for 2 couples on a week-end getaway. The home was clean, King size beds were comfortable, a few snacks & coffee & creamer were provided! We had a a lot of fun searching for the tiny ducks hidden around the home! We were able to easily walk down to the riverfront or walk downtown to eat & shop.Clifty Falls is a must do for a hike to one of the many waterfalls! We also enjoyed the guided trolley tour around town.Thank you Mona, for the awesome communication & sharing your home in Madison!

Decorating was very nice. Loved the back patio. The whole experience was just perfect. I highly recommend this property.

The place was very clean and so nice inside. There were some snacks on the counter and shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion available for use. It is located not far from downtown so easy to walk if you are a walker. Also close to walk across the bridge or along the river. The owners texted after we left to thank us for our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Went with friends to Madison for a long weekend. This house was the highlight of my stay absolutely stunning nice decor. I would stay here again and again the owners were very nice and accommodating.

We stayed here for my son’s graduation weekend. What a fantastic property! Parking was always available right in front of the house, the patio is amazing for relaxing, the beds are so comfortable! We will definitely be back!

Location was great, beautiful home, backyard and front porch seating, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and the place was spotless. The hosts are a lovely couple and you can see how much they care for The Wadsworth and want to share it with others. We hope to return to Madison and The Wadsworth very soon.

Wonderful VRBO steps away from the Ohio River and historic Madison in a very quiet setting. The home is comfortable, clean and very well-equipped, and the seating at the rear of the house is a nice bonus! The owners are great people, and have anticipated every need for a short or long stay. Highly recommend this property!

What a lovely home that we were able to enjoy some time away for our anniversary. Madison is such a charming community and this house adds to that charm. The location is a short walk to downtown, and during that walk you can see all the lovely homes in this neighborhood.The hosts provide such a welcoming home and a beautiful one at that. If we make another trip to Madison we will surely stay again at this house.

The house was so clean, comfortable and welcoming that we knew within the first few minutes we would love our stay. The layout is nice in that the bedrooms are in the back of the house. The decor is beautiful, the beds and couch are extremely comfortable and there are some great little touches like coffee, water and snacks provided as well as extra blankets, hand lotion in the restrooms, some games and puzzles and brochures for local spots. It is close enough to walk to shops and restaurants yet on a quiet block. We would return to this property with no hesitation!

Clean, nicely decorated, everything looks brand new, super comfy beds, all the comforts of home. We would book again. Highly recommend.

This was a perfect getaway with dear friends in a beautiful home. It was comfortable and every need was anticipated by the hosts' caring thoughtfulness.

We had an amazing time in Madison! The home was spotless and had everything you will need plus more! Mona checks in to be sure everything is fine and suggested things to do. You will love the location! Will be my place to stay at all upcoming visits!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Mona was just incredible and very kind and helpful. The house was so cozy and so clean. We had everything we needed and felt so at home during our stay. Mona even texted me before we arrived and asked if we’d like for her to put up the Christmas tree. Of course we said “YES”. It was just so sweet of her to ask. It added extra ambiance to an already beautiful home. It was the perfect place for me to bring my daughter to celebrate her 40th birthday-just a lovely mother/daughter long-weekend. I will definitely be staying here again!!!

Our stay was perfect!!!! The home was ver clean and well maintained. Perfectly located near downtown, with plenty of room for our family of 4. The location made it easy to visit downtown for a while then return for a break and headout again for dinner. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again as well!!!!

The Wadsworth House was just as pictured on-line and was very clean & neat. The entry keypad was easier to use than in some of the other houses we have rented. There was an abundance of good, local info as to sights & restaurants - I especially appreciated the rack of brochures. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood & across the bridge.

Quick getaway for 4 sisters (from Cincinnati) and the home was the perfect setting! So clean and newly renovated- great soothing color scheme and decorations makes it feel like you’re at home. Very well stocked (coffee and toiletries) and lots of info on Madison with things to do. Hosts are very responsive. Nice location - walkable to town and to river walk - with outdoor seating on front and back porches. Definitely will visit again!

The Wadsworth home is a great place for a group of 4 to stay. The home is remodeled wonderfully with plenty of amenities . We had great time chilling on the back patio, listing to tunes and sipping cold drinks. Its a great home, looking forward to a return trip.

Very thoughtfully laid out and furnished! Everything you could want in your stay. From extra towels to kitchen items to tasteful decorations to first class air conditioning, we lacked nothing. We did not want to leave, and plan to stay ere again.we
