Great location and very spacious.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home in Madison. Location was perfect to be able to walk through the town for shopping and eating! The hosts were very thoughtful and accommodations were very clean with all you could possibly need for your stay. Interested in coming back again in the spring or fall

This house is great, and was very pet friendly. We have a full size truck, and it almost didn't fit in the driveway. We ended up parking out front on the street, which isn't a big deal but thought some people would like to know. We enjoyed staying at this property.

Had a great, quick weekend trip with family. The property is right on Main St and close to the local shops & restaurants. House was clean and check in was easy. Host was friendly and easy to connect with.

10/10 We could not have asked for a cleaner, well accommodated place to stay. The host were wonderful and went above and beyond with all kinds of extra little touches to make our stay great. Loved the little dog treats left for our fur baby. The house is spotless and even better than the pictures. The golf cart and coffee bar are wonderful extras to our stay. We felt right at home. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here!

I judge a VRBO property by the question: would I want to stay here again? Answer: Yes, in fact, I would come to Madison, IN, again just to stay at East End River Retreat! The place is equipped better than our own home and we kept finding nice things to use in case we would need them. Beds are very comfortable and the home is surprisingly quiet. All rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy. Bathrooms were sparkling; kitchen outfitted with coffee station and great appliances. Plenty of places to go walking the dog in the nearby neighborhood. Lots of books, magazines, and music in case you're in the mood for that. We had a very relaxing time. Always good for me to visit the Ohio River.

Place was excellent. More stuff in the kitchen than my own house. Sparkling clean. Roomy, way bigger inside than it looks in the photo. Great for the dogs. Short walk down to the river. Check in and check out super simple. Covered outdoor seating front and back. Really, nothing we would have liked that wasn't there.Couldn't have been happier with the place.

We wanted a long fun weekend in Madison for the Ribberfest Blues Fest and Candy and Teresa came through for us! Comfort throughout and the golf cart made getting around so very easy, we extended through Monday and explored Madison' sights. We will do it again for certain.

The hosts were easily accessible and the place had every possible amenity. The kitchen is very well-appointed and spacious. There's plenty of parking on the cul-du-sac behind the house and it's an easy walk to the downtown area with plenty of shops, boutiques and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful place to stay while in Madison! A cute shotgun style home that is beautifully renovated and decorated. And these hosts know how to treat guest right! Every little thing that you might need is thoughtfully provided - from umbrellas, games, a charging station, a dog crate, etc.! And since we love to cook we really appreciated the great kitchen with nice cookware and lots of plates/glassware and even spices! And such nice linens and fantastic pillows! To top it off there is a golf cart you can use. What a wonderful way to get around town - so easy and fun! I just don't know how our experience could have been any better!

This home is impressive! The owners have everything we needed for our stay. The home is clean and beautifully furnished! The owners were available for any questions. The golf cart provided was a wonderful treat and had bright headlights for driving at night! The house is located close to everything in town. We cannot wait to visit again and stay.

The cottage is incredibly cute and cozy, with thoughtful decor that makes you feel right at home. Every inch of the space is comfortable and immaculately clean.The location couldn’t be better. Just a short walk to uptown Madison, full of shops, restaurants, and historic sights. But the real treat? The golf cart! It was such a fun and unique way to explore the town. Definitely a big highlight of our stay.The hosts truly thought of everything. The cottage was stocked with every amenity you could possibly need, from kitchen essentials and fluffy towels to extra blankets and even local guides and recommendations. We were especially grateful for the individually packaged cold medications they had tucked away. When I wasn't feeling so good, it was great to have them on hand without having to make a late-night run to the pharmacy.We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years, but this one stands out as one of the best. We didn’t want for a single thing during our visit. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a lovely time. Great property with easy access to everything. Our kids loved the golf cart and we appreciated the extra touches from the owners. Great little house for a stay in a great little town.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and comfortable, the kitchen very nicely set up which was good because it was too cold to go out and walk around. Communication with the host was great, she made us feel very welcome.
