The Villa Estrella at The Movie Colony

We loved staying here! There was a group of 10 of us for a girls trip and this home was perfect. Close enough to everything but still tucked away and private.The home itself is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. A literal desert oasis with flawless design!! The hosts were so so accommodating during the entire stay. We ran out of paper towels at one point and they dropped off a whole pack of them within an hour.I highly recommend staying here and will 10000% be back (this house made us want to start doing annual girls trips here LOL) Thank you for the great stay!

We loved our stay. It was perfect for our family of 11. Walking distance to downtown Palm Springs and the outdoor space with great pool was a big hit for the kids. Will stay again.

The house, including the backyard, was a perfect setting for my 65th birthday celebration!!!! Loved it and will definitely return.

Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Ten lounge chairs and six sun umbrellas and several other seating areas made for a very comfortable outdoor experience. The downtown was an easy walk for lots of restaurant choices. There was a large outdoor dining table ideal for family dinners. My only suggestion wouldn’t be to put a dimmer on the light above the table.

Fabulous house and hosts. Perfect get away for friends. The hosts have fully stocked the house and have thought of everything. Extremely receptive. Great location… walking distance to town. You will not be disappointed!

The house was very clean. The checking process was seamless and the view of the mountains is spectacular. We would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful property. Extra activities for entertainment. Room sizes & bathrooms were perfect. Decor was beautiful.

We just spent a week at this house with our three married children and their spouses and our two college age children. The house was perfect for our gathering. We ate all but one of our meals at the house and found this to be the perfect house for cooking in. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances and the eating space both inside and out was perfect. It was nice to have chairs for everyone around the table. The pool was GREAT! We stayed in December, pool heat is needed, or it would be too cold. I have no idea what the bill is for heating the pool so I may be speaking out of turn. But it does seem that the cost of pool heat is very high on top of the cost of renting the house. The pool was cleaned several times while we were there. Having loungers for everyone was a big plus! The outside area of this house is the best part of this rental! We even decided to cancel a few of our activities and just stay and enjoy the pool area. The beds were perfect. Not too soft but not rock hard. I will agree with a previous review that it would be good to have two of the four pillows on the beds not so full. I am sure that the owner was trying to offer premium bedding and pillows, but they are really big. Having TVs in all rooms was also very nice. Also, the management company was great to work with and they were very responsive. They even showed up to take the garbage out and bring in the cans. We loved staying here! Great house! Great location!

We’ve stayed in many homes in Palm Springs and this is def. A repeat! Beautiful home/layout. Kitchen stocked well, pool area great, plenty of towels, great view of mountains, close to stores/restaurants … we rarely left the home! You won’t be disappointed. Easy check in and out and quick response from staff. Thank you!
