Stayed Dec 25, 2025Our stay at ‘The View’ was incredible. The weather turned out to be quite average which meant we couldn’t do what we had originally planned to do in Paynesville. Luckily the resort had an indoor heated pool, tennis and basketball courts, paddle boating, fishing off the private jetty right at our back doorstep and relaxing on the deck with a beautiful lake view. Another positive is that the shops and park is only a short walk away. We highly recommend ‘The View’ to our family and friends and will definitely be back. Thank you, Will and Amy for hosting!

Stayed Jan 27, 2025well appointed property with great outlook. Very comfortable beds and linen. Carpet is a little tired but overall it was a great place to stay and having the jetty was wonderful. we hired a boat for 4 days and it was very easy.

Stayed Jan 7, 2025The property was nice, particularly the water frontage and the use of a private jetty for our boat. Information about the property at check in was provided only about 2 hours before we arrived there. The instructions on the fridge about connecting to the wifi where wrong and had to contact the host for the correct wifi details. While the property is nice, it is obvious that they have a high turnover of holidaymakers there as the inside showed signs of wear and tear.
