Stayed May 16, 2026House had a horrible mold smell. My family got sick from it. Host never responded. We had to leave and scramble to find a safe vacation rental. I wouldn’t step foot on this property unless you want your family getting sick. Host completely ignored the situation probably because they know it has a problem.

Stayed Mar 5, 2026WOW! WOW! WOW! Is all we can say! Gathering for 5 of us grade school pals after 50 years!! Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location. We never left. Had deliveries come to us!! Wonderful beach & sunsets. Pretty private. Shark teeth galore!! Only downfall we'd have to say was little tricky on spiral staircase up and down on our old joints & bones but otherwise, AMAZING!!! Thanks again sooooo much! Hope to be back sometime!!

Stayed Nov 21, 2025The house is super cute!!!! Lovely spot on the beach! Take note that there is a beach access easement for the people across the street so there are people who come through the driveway to get to the beach but they seemed very respectful! Lots of shells and shark teeth and beautiful sunsets! We will be back!

Stayed Nov 2, 2025Our stay was simply perfect. The kitchen had nice quality pots and pans and plenty of dishes. Everything in the home was well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed many dinners on the large deck overlooking the Gulf. Our host, Andrew, could not have been more accommodating. We had an issue with the stove and he immediately sent someone over to fix it. My family loved walking out the door to go shark tooth hunting! I highly recommend the Turtle House.

Stayed Oct 5, 2025Location was the best. Home was very dated. AC could not keep home at desired temperature during daytime. Furniture needs updated. Not very comfortable. Home was not level. Perhaps this because it got wet and bowed the floors. Bugs were a crazy problem.

Stayed Jul 23, 2025We have been coming to Manasota for 4 years now. Our condo we stayed at previously was destroyed in the hurricane. I was so bummed thinking I wouldn’t find anything we liked as much as the condo that was almost in the water! I am so thankful I found The Turtle House! We Had an amazing time! The home was gorgeous and clean. The views were incredible and we can’t wait to come back!
