Great fishing cabin right on the river. Close to Blue Ridge

This cabin is right on the lake where you csn fish. Its got plenty of places to sleep. Bring your pillows other thsn that it was amazingly perfect! My dog enjoyef it as much as we did lots of property we spent a great amoubt of time together and it was much needed. I look forward to coming back. Thanks to wonderful hodts!

Traditional Holiday Fishing

Right on the Taccoa River, this house had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay, We hiked in GA, TN, and NC and finished each day toasting marshmallows on the fire. It’s in a very beautiful area. Deer love the expansive front lawn.

My mom goes with us and feels like home to her. We are so comfortable there!! Seen deer everyday!! In the yard and at the river. Caught fish everyday. This is our 2nd time staying here. there will be a 3rd and many more as time allows. Thank you for sharing your cabin!!

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin on the river. This cabin was perfect for our group. It was right on the river, but had plenty of room between it and other cabins. We saw the cabin during our scenic train ride and during a river kayak trip, and it was less than 45 minutes from our white water rafting trip. I highly recommend this cabin.

On our way to Mineral Bluff we got a call from our host Ellza saying the house was ready early. We were still far away, so we couldn't take advantage of that, but it was very nice. The house was clean when we arrived, with the exception of the screened in porch. We encountered a couple of issues that were correctly extremely fast. My reason for the 4 star rating is that the house has some plumbing issues, such as a clogged sink, which we tried to fix, but it really needs a plumber. The other issue is the loud constant drip from the middle level shower. It's right near the bedroom, so you hear it all night. The beds and furniture are old and uncomfortable. On the positive side, the location is amazing and right on the river. The property is also large and level. There is everything you need to float down the river. This property could be a five star plus with a little TLC, new furniture and beds.

Perfect location to get away, yet still close to things to do/see and stores. The house was nice. All was clean. I liked the decor, the couch was comfy. The main floor bed was comfortable. Would have liked the option of another blanket, didn't see any extras in the 1st floor bedroom. The main floor bathroom was ok, (there was a constant drip in the shower, which became noticeably loud at night and the sink was slow to drain). The bath towels were thin and there was barely enough to go around. Would have been nice to have a backup of a few more bath towels. Was glad I bought a new can opener. The 3 they had could not do the job. They really need to be thrown away. There was adequate dishes, cups, glasses, pots and pans. I was happy dish soap was supplied. If you are sensitive to smells, there was a slight musty? or something odor to the home, but I didn't notice it the second day. The back deck was great. The fire pit as great. Though the enclosed porch could use some sprucing up. Didn't use the enclosed porch, but it didn't look inviting. All in all, I would stay again. Can't beat the views and location.

The outside of property and location was great. The inside of cabin was old and dated. Very musty smelling downstairs. The furniture and beds were very uncomfortable.

We all just love this place we come back every year. So relaxing and nice to be together for a weeks stay.

Everything was wonderful!!!! Recommend you bring more pots and pans limited utensils and make sure you don’t sleep on bunk beds downstairs the mattress need to be replaced. Other than that the cabin was in perfect location and the yard was to die for!!! Love our time there and made lots of memories floating down the river!!!❤️❤️

This cabin was perfect in every way for our little trip. We are already planning on coming back next month. The shoreline offered us a memorable weekend of fun. Every night the deer would come in the yard to eat. I can’t remember the last time we relaxed and had this much fun.

Fun to sit out and watch floaters go by.

Enjoyed another stay on the river enjoying the water and wildlife. The cabin is a great place to bring a family and enjoy Blue Ridge!
