The Tarpon Cottage
Our recently 1918 renovated cottage is three blocks from the beautiful Apalachicola Bay.
You can stroll down to Lafayette Park and walk out onto the dock that overlooks the bay. It's a sight to behold. Watch a variety of birds, enjoy the porpoise chasing the bait fish. Or just sit and take in all of the natural beauty and quietness of what the bay has to offer.
We are in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to shops, restaurant's, the grocery store

Stayed Mar 1, 2026Beautiful, well decorated and outfitted home! We have stayed at many VRBO homes and this was one of the best. Apalachicola is a lovely town with great food and plenty to do and this home as our base was an excellent choice. This home is a five star winner!

Stayed Feb 1, 2026This house was the perfect rental for us! The location is convenient to parks, shopping, dining, and entertainment. The host was extremely knowledgeable and responsive! The house is fully stocked with whatever you may need and want during your stay. We will definitely book this rental again!
