The Space:

This fun, cozy property is the perfect base for your Crested Butte adventures. Designed like a Surf Shack in the mountains, it combines laid-back charm with mountain convenience—ride your bike right out the door to nearby trails, or hop the shuttle to the base area for skiing and riding on Mt. Crested Butte in winter.



Built with upside-down living, the top floor holds the living, kitchen, and dining space to make the most of the views. The fully equipped kitchen opens into the living area so the cook stays part of the action, the dining nook comfortably seats 6, and the living room offers a large TV and gas fireplace for warming up after a day on the mountain.



The entry floor holds two bedrooms sharing a full bath with a tub/shower combo—one with a twin bunk bed, the other with a queen. Downstairs, the primary suite offers a king bed, a beautifully renovated bathroom with a shower, and the laundry area.



A 1-car garage provides parking and gear storage, plus an EV charging port, along with one additional driveway spot (2 total parking spaces). No additional or on-street parking is available in the Pitchfork neighborhood, and RVs/trailers of any kind are not permitted. For security, the owner maintains motion-triggered outdoor cameras at each exterior door, facing outward only.



All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.



Smoking are not allowed on the property and renters must be 25 years or older to rent from us.  Children with their parent or guardian are always welcome.

Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.

The Neighborhood:

The Pitchfork neighborhood is a nice mix of local and 2nd homeowners. There is a shuttle stop at the turnaround as you pull into the area and easily gotten to on foot from anywhere in the subdivision.



Getting Around:

Use the free shuttle that stops at the turnaround just as you enter Pitchfork to catch the free bus to the base area. From there you can catch another shuttle to the town of Crested Butte.
