To ensure you have a comfortable and rejuvenating stay, the Station Master's House has been fitted out with luxurious beds and seating, a cozy gas log fire, ducted heating and evaporative cooling.
Sleeps up to 10 with 2 King size beds, 2 Queen size beds and 2 singles.
BEDROOM 1- King size bed with luxury linen and Lovely ensuite.
BEDROOM 2- King size bed and a Single bed with luxury linen.
BEDROOM 3-Two Queen size bedswith luxury linen.
BEDROOM 4- Single bed with luxury linen.
King size beds can be split into singles. Please advise at least two weeks before your stay of preferred bedding configuration. (Additional charges apply)

Stayed Aug 16, 2024A group of friends got together for a weekend break, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks to Donna and her team. The house was very clean and well presented. the location is very central, walking to distance to everything! I would recommend to anyone thinking of a short break.

Stayed Nov 4, 2022We stayed in Castlemaine and travelled to Chewton to visit the house my ancestors built in 1860. We had a great weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Station Master’s House which was very conveniently located and spotlessly clean - and also had children’s books, a high chair and cot for our little granddaughter. We went to the Railway Hotel for dinner on Friday night which was so much fun and the Castlemaine market on Sunday - can’t walk t to do it all again one day soon.

Stayed Mar 4, 2022The Station Master's House was perfect for us. We travelled to Castlemaine for the weekend with 8 adults and a newborn, and the accommodation and location was simply outstanding. A beautiful charming residence that suits the character of Castlemaine, that is convenient to walk to the Mill and the town. Fantastic hosts and communication.

Stayed Mar 11, 2022On the main highway and so close to the town centre. We walked to wherever we needed to go. Even though on a main road traffic noise was unnoticeable. Heard the trains but they just added to the atmosphere of the Station Masters House especially the tourist steam train. House well presented with everything we needed. Will book again
