Lots of space to relax and enjoy a beautiful home -- especially sitting on the front porch breathing the ocean air. Perfect location and Tides to Pines - Jen - was a great communicator. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the Spruces was excellent. The house was clean when we arrived, as described/depicted, and very well set up (kitchen tools, bedding, extra seating etc.) We did not need to have a lot of communication with the rental office, but when we did it was easy and clear. It was a wonderful place to spend the week with our whole family, comfortable and able to accommodate everyone in one place. We love Owls Head and have visited many times; this was another wonderful trip and a great place to stay.

Stayed Jun 16, 2025We rented this house so we could enjoy a vacation with our daughter and her boyfriend, our son and DIL and 3 grandchildren, ages 5, 3 and 18 months. There were plenty of bedrooms and baths for us to all spread out. The 1st floor master and downstairs bathroom are amazing. The other bedrooms and bath I’m told were very comfortable. We did a lot of cooking here and the kitchen was well supplied with essentials. I don’t think the pictures do justice to the sweeping views. I loved sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee in the early morning and just let the quiet and calmness, the ocean sounds and smells permeate my entire being…and then the 3 grandchildren wake up, come out and join and create a whole different appreciation and gratitude! I can’t wait to come back, this is one of the better houses I’ve rented mid-coast in 20 years…and I’ve rented a lot!!

Stayed Jul 5, 2025This is beautiful, family home and the perfect place to enjoy all that the midcoast has to offer. Owners have set up an inviting and yet functional, not over-done set-up that makes it feel easy and comfortable to gather for family dinners, enjoy drinks on the porch and the kids loved playing in the ample front and back yards as well as being able to walk to a beautiful beach. Views are outstanding. A peaceful, quiet property that is simultaneously accessible to lots of places to explore in nature and in the local community.
