Wonderful location to unwind and enjoy the views of Joshua Tree.

My wife and I along with my sister and brother in law booked this property for 4 nights and 5 days. We came out for my daughter’s wedding in Joshua tree. The home was exactly as it was described. For an Italian family staying we had EVERYTHING needed to cook at the home when we did. It was the perfect setup basically two identical master bedrooms. Excellent choice for two couples. I can’t say enough about the home and Juliet the host immediately responded to my questions and was easy to reach. I would highly recommend this property.

This sweet, modern bungalow was exactly what I was hoping for. Quiet area, gorgeous space and so easy to just BE. The Smeg appliances were a nice touch. Highly reccomend!

Beautiful home with super easy access to the national park. Beautiful hot tub and pool area, just beware the extra cost with heating these items. Also know that renters do not control the temperature of the hot tub.

We loved our stay at The Sowe, it was perfect for star gazing and relaxing in the desert neighborhood. Yucca Valley is a diamond in the rough, so many great adventures and so close to Joshua Tree National Park.If you love quiet and also love proximity to civilization, The Sowe is a wonderful option.

Beautiful property. Stiff fees for use of spa and pool. Stingy with towels— only two towels per person for a 7 day stay and no pool/spa towels. Next door neighbor is building an addition so expect construction noise for the future. This will greatly impact your quiet enjoyment of this space—we luckily only suffered through one day of earth moving beeping.

This was absolutely perfect for us to explore the Joshua Tree area and National Park! Centrally located, clean, beautiful view, and property manager was super quick and responsive.

It was not exactly as expected but fabulous nevertheless. The pool was not, could not be heated. There was a separate charge to heat the jacuzzi which was well-worth the price. We enjoyed and would stay again.

Overall the property is great! My wife and I really enjoyed our two nights here and would definitely come back again. Host was very easy to deal with and the property was generally well setup and well managed, with only minor wear. We had a great time there! Nitpicks below: I was a bit annoyed when I found out the pool had a $300 a day(!) heating fee. That price seems kind of outrageous, but to be fair I have no idea what heating a pool of the size costs when you're not hooked up to a municiple gas line. The jacuzzi heating fee of $60 a day was more paletable and we did end up paying for it. No regrets there as the jacuzzi was very nice and we ended up spending a lot of time in it. The outdoor fire pit is a nice amenity but be careful when you're lighting that thing, the gas comes out fast and furious. Maybe just a skill issue on our part. As for the TV, well it kind of sucks. It's large, but it's mounted way too high (tv's should be at eye level, not 10 feet up on the wall), the picture quality was terrible, and the sound was nearly as bad. Would have definitely perfered a nice OLED with at least a capable soundbar. Finally, there are no shades of any kind on those giant sliding glass doors, which is great for your instagram pictures and seeing the awesome views, but pretty much makes the already bad TV unusable during much of the day. Again though, in totality I think it's a great location and recommend it for sure.

Lovely place to stay to visit Joshua Tree National Park. The pool/spa was nice. The layout is simple and nice. The kitchen was well equipped.

I loved the white marble counter tops and the concrete floors! Loved going barefoot, even in the garage! Kitchen is beautiful, full of light. Loved soaking our tired feet from hiking in the pool and hot tub, that were not heated. So refreshing! The calming water feature and lighting, privacy, makes it so inviting! Rooms and beds were comfortable, spacious, bathrooms with more white marble. Shower lovely and spacious. Concrete floors! Great hikes in the park close by. Amazing restaurants nearby. Such a beautiful place to stay. Relaxing, peaceful, Stargazing out our bedroom or by the pools is magnificent. If you are going to Joshua Tree, don't stay anywhere else!

My Wife and I needed a week to unplug, unwind, and relax… this was the place to do it!

We planned a week as our anniversary getaway…just as beautiful as the pictures. We floated in the pool everyday (100 degrees, average high), pool does not require heating during the warm months. We cooked all our meals in house, only required an additional good knife, and the food we purchased from local grocery stores. Met the pool guy…also very nice…the pool is salt, so no chlorine smell!? Our time there was just splendid! I had no need to communicate with the property manager/owner during our stay, but I did touch base prior to our visit and the response was quick (same day). We loved the property and look forward to visiting again.

The house was just as expect. Only complaint is there was an odor in the home but otherwise it was great. Perfect place to relax and get away to.

I understand that in a desert I would see a presence of wildlife and I have no issue with that, in fact I enjoy observing wildlife. However, what I did not anticipate was finding a total of three animals dead in the pool at the house I was paying nearly $600 to rent. I first found a dead lizard about 2 feet long, then a scorpion, and lastly a baby bunny. It was horrifying! The dead animals floating in the pool made it so that I could not use the pool at the property and the main reason I paid the premium price for this rental property was to use and enjoy the pool. The host's response completely ignored and disregarded the fact that while on vacation I could not use the pool due to the dead animals and the host merely informed me that I should remove the dead animals myself using the ripped pool net. The host's response is not welcoming nor appropriate for a luxury property advertised on VRBO. I would not recommend staying here!!!
