The Seashell House - Luxurious Comfort And Affordability 276 steps to the beach

The owner was very responsive to our every need. The property was impeccably clean and decorated. The property is perfect for the romantic getaway. It is right near the seawall but also secluded like an oasis from the bustle and the crowds. When we go back to Galveston, we will book this property again!!!

We had the most incredible stay at The Seashell House on Galveston Beach! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the coastal décor and the warm, inviting atmosphere. The house is beautifully maintained, thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, and just steps from the sand and surf. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying coffee became the highlight of our mornings. The outdoor space was perfect for evening stargazing and making memories with my wife. Whether we were lounging on the patio or heading out to explore the beach, this house made it all feel effortless. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our Galveston getaway. The Seashell House truly lives up to its name—it’s a little piece of paradise. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks, Bill, for a wonderful weekend.

We always find a VRBO when we want to go somewhere due to most have kitchens and all hotels do not. Mr Bill was wealth of information and a great pleasure to meet. I usually do not visit with the host that much but I would have certainly missed out if I would not have visited with him! We will definitely stay again.

Check in was simple. I had a bump in the road with my travels coming in and Bill was completely understanding. He was friendly and welcoming during my unexpected, late arrival. The location is near all of the main attractions of Galveston which was super nice for time management. Steps to the beach. The house was very cute!

Sea Shell was the perfect getaway for me and my wife. It was beautifully furnished and decorated and had everything we needed. We walked to the beach from the house. Checkin was easy. We would definitely stay again.

Cannot beat the location for walking distance from the beach! The space was clean, cute decor, surprisingly comfortable bed, kitchen was fine for what we needed (oven once, stove twice, great fridge/freezer), the bath towels are incredible lol. The listing said beach towels were included so we purposefully didn't bring any, but they don't have beach towels. I let the property manager know bc he was kind and communicated well after we arrived, and I think he's going to remove that from the listing. The TV isn't a smart TV so no streaming options. There wasn't a ton of communication prior to arrival, so I didn't know the manager was going to physically meet us to hand us actual keys. He didn't ask what time we were arriving and I didn't know to tell him, but it all worked out well. I thought there was going to be a door code in the app or something - nope! Handoff of real keys to the door. The best part was packing up the cooler and beach bag and carrying them across one parking lot and one street and then you're at the beach! The property manager graciously also let us have a later checkout because no one was arriving later that day. Great spot for a quick weekend getaway with my best friend, I would go back and book it again.

The home was perfect for 2. Smelled amazing...super clean! The bed was so soft and comfy and the rooms were decorated so pretty. Really enjoyed our stay.
