THE ROSE: modern+cozy home close to Keeneland & UK

The property was in an excellent location and a lovely neighborhood. The house was nice and was clean. We're a family that likes to cook, so the I didn't feel like the kitchen was stocked to cook for more than 2 people. Also, with no dishwasher it made it hard. Overall, a nice property.

Very kid friendly. It felt like I was home and great yard and great area.

The stay was overall just okay. The location was definitely a plus, as it was convenient to get to nearby activities and attractions, which made getting around easy and enjoyable.However, there were several issues that took away from the experience. The grass outside had not been mowed, giving the property an unkempt appearance. The grill was rusted and had to be thoroughly cleaned before using , which was disappointing. Inside, there was a noticeable amount of dust on the ceiling fans and around the wall AC outlets, suggesting cleaning could have been more thorough. The bottom of the shower curtain was dirty, and the washing machine was completely moldy, which was especially concerning from a cleanliness standpoint. The TV would not turn on at all during our stay. Additionally, there was no ironing board, even though we had asked about this prior to our stay and were told one would be available, which was important for us to prepare clothes for events and activities.Additionally, the supplies were lacking. Only one trash bag was provided, and there was just half a roll of toilet paper available, which was not sufficient for the stay.Overall, while the location was great, the cleanliness, missing amenities, and maintenance issues made the experience average at best.

The property was in a wonderful location to all the things we wanted to see while we were there. Communication with our host was prompt and helpful. We had everything we needed for our stay at The Rose. My family of 5 slept comfortably and soundly there. House was mostly clean and cozy.

Host responded immediately when emailed. Home was just as they described it. Our group had 5 adults and we had plenty of room. The only suggestion that I would make is that the bedrooms with the queen beds in them be moved away from the wall as it was difficult if you had to get up in the middle of the night not to disturb the other person.

perfect location for everything we wanted and needed to do

Overall we were satisfied with the accommodation. Had a little glitch with check in but it was rectified by owner. The property needs a little TLC, the gas BBQ was unusable and needed a deep clean, a fire pit chair was broken and the patio umbrella was broken. Beds were comfortable although the place had a slight smell of what seemed like smoke.

Great layout and good location.

We were in town for Land Rover! It was a great location 20 minutes from the horse park. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Property Owners are great! Perfect for our stay!
