The River House: A quiet getaway with Stunning Mountain views.

The river and quiet walking paths were amazing.

What a wonderful cabin, and great communication with the host! Will definitely book again.

This place was in a very nice area close to Mt Rainer. Being river front was tranquil and the view gorgeous. Kitchen was very well stocked. Overall the cabin was clean minus lamps and bedframe areas extremely dusty.The bedroom mattress was way to soft and both my husband ended up have back and neck pain.I think this would be nice during the spring and summer months as the patio is not covered, but works for the time of year for BBQng and using the spa.

This was our third stay- a beautiful, quiet, cozy and clean place to stay, right on the doorstep of the National Park!

The house was very cozy and welcoming. Loved the hot tub and the river location as well.

The cabin was just as we expected. Clean and well-furnished. It was close to the National Park entrance and in a really peaceful setting at the bank of the Nisqually river.

Had an amazing stay at this house nestled in the mountains! It was very secluded and serene with epic views of a small creek and the forested mountains. Very close to rainier which was a big bonus.

This property was in a stunning location, just beautiful. We enjoyed the property and hot tub. The property was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting by the river. Close to the park entrance. We ate both nights at Copper Creek and loved it! Only suggestion, supply regular coffee. Only instant coffee was available. Otherwise, we loved our stay!

Such a great and quite property- really feels like the best of being in the mountains with a cozy cabin, amazing starry sky, clean hot tub, and a quiet setting.

Beautiful furnishings and decor. Spacious and large windows and sliding deck door allow a view of the outdoors and natural. Nice deck and fire pit area along with chairs close to river add to the ambiance.

Clean and great location

We absolutely loved this cottage. We had plenty of space between the two rooms for my husband and I and our three daughters. The house was perfectly clean. We have to cook all meals due to my daughter’s allergies and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The washer and dryer helped us a tons after so many long hikes. The house is only about ten minutes to the park entrance but from the house to the paradise visitor center it was about 45 minutes. The other main visitor center is Sunrise and it was about an hour and 45 minutes from the house. There was a handy gas station only 5 minutes away with some groceries. I would say my only complaint would be that the hot tub is pretty outdated and buttons don’t work great.

Check in was easy. Kitchen had necessary equipment to make our meals. Wi-fi was a little sketchy. If you accessed Wi-fi on your phone the Television would buffer. Hot Tub was clean and very nice (also private). The bedding and towels felt lovely and I appreciated no wrinkles on the sheets.... Well done...

This was the perfect hideaway…we cooked steaks on the grill, sat in the hot tub, and enjoyed the sun going down with the most spectacular view. Highly recommend!One tip…screenshot your door code because the service outside is sketchy at best. ;)

Everything was as pictured, and the close location to the park allowed us to beat the daily crowds. This is a better than average rental. Don't pass it up if you're considering it.

We had an amazing time and loved this home. It is the perfect layout, the beds were so comfortable, and it had everything we needed to enjoy the mountains. The property is very close to the entrance to Rainer, and it was quiet and private. We truly loved it here!!

This property was not only exactly as described, but pictures and words didn't do it justice! The river behind the house was so quiet and peaceful - we watched deer drink and ducks float on by. The home was spotless clean, beds all very comfortable, and beyond beautifully decorated. Absolutely perfect.

This place was absolutely wonderful and breathtaking views!! Communication was great. The house has everything you need and owner pays attention to details. Decor was very nice. Excellent location when spending time in Mt Rainier NP. Home was very comfortable and well equipped. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing stay. Loved the outside space; creek, hot tub, views, etc.

Well equipped, with everything you needed. Surprisingly private, being only on a half acre. Very thoughtful design to make it with that private feel.

FIRST -- someone else commented on this and I didn't pay enough attention. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE ADDRESS!! It is the address with Ct in it!!Now, for the good part-- the cabin is LOVELY!! It has great cabin decor and well appointed. I am a big cook on vacation and I found the kitchen had really nice stuff (although it would be nice to have one smaller sauce pan). The river is lovely -- and the deck and hot tub. BEWARE if you go when it is warm -- there were lots of mosquitoes and ants by the river. Also, something to note, there really isn't much in the way of grocery stores near by -- bring what you really need.I would definitely go back!

Clean, comfortable property. Some properties in neighborhood are quite rundown but the home itself and those closest to it are well maintained.

This property is in a stunning location. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. It is close to Mt. Rainier N.P. We highly recommend it.

Make sure you are on the street not Ave. Absolutely beautiful views out back. The cabin is very clean and feels comforting.

This was an awesome stay. Just what the spirit needed. Sitting in a chair listening to a river or sitting in the hottub enjoying the view. This place had easy access for driving up Mt Rainier to Paridise

Nice quiet weekend

Host is a RockStar - EXCELLENT communication. Pictures don’t do this properly justice.

Although the weather did not cooperate for outdoor adventures, we thoroughly enjoyed down time just relaxing by the woodstove and sitting in the hot tub. It was just what I needed. The place had everything to cook meals as well. Private and beautiful scenery looking out at the river.

We loved our stay at the River House. The house was very clean. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, and cozy blankets. The table was large enough for us to work on two puzzles at once. The Hot tub was my daughter’s favorite part. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very responsive and kind. We would stay here again.

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. The location was great and so relaxing. Our kids lived being able to sled at the local park just 5 min away.

The cabin was beautiful and well kept. The WiFi was out, but the communication from the owner was fast and it wasn’t an issue. The hot tub was hot, and the fire pit was perfect. To top it all off, the views were spectacular. 10/10 would stay again.

It was a great relaxing weekend in this little house in the woods overlooking a river. It was quiet, cozy and comfortable. Perfect for my sister and I to get a weekend away to read our books, play card games and relax in the hot tub. We had all the supplies we needed in the house except for a tea kettle but we made do with a pot. :) Beds and linens were clean and so comfy. Couches are warn but not uncomfortable, we lounged while reading enjoying the river outside and the wildlife walking by.

We have stayed here before, so the fact that we rebook speakers for itself-and we will always continue to do so when it’s available! This is one of the most clean and well-equipped rentals we have stayed at. The beds are phenomenal, and the kitchen has everything you might need. We enjoyed the wood stove and the evenings in the hot tub, listening to the river. It’s a great getaway spot after a day in the snow at Paradise. Hope to stay in the summer and use the big firepit!

Exactly as pictured. Spotlessly clean. Gorgeous views. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. My only complaint: there was a boil water advisory that was not relayed to us; we found out via a sign at the entrance to the neighborhood. Had we known, we would've brought drinking water instead of heading back into town and paying a king's ransom at the quickie mart.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay at your cabin. Very clean and very well decorated. Just wish our stay could’ve been longer, and we are definitely coming back!!!

Really loved our stay here. It's right on the river with easy access. You can sit and relax right on it. There is a fire pit as well. It was neat and clean. The living room is a little dim for my liking, but very well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils. I loved the beds and the pillows, comfortable night's sleep. We arrived late in the night so finding the cabin was a little difficult. The Google maps was not that helpful. The property manager was reachable and helped us find the cabin. It has dedicated parking space. Around 2.5 miles away from the Mt. Rainier entrance.

Everything was perfect ! Whenever we return to Mount Rainier NP we will definitely stay at The River House again!

The River House was a lovely place to stay. We sat by the river in the morning with coffee, had a fire outside, grilled, and fired up the wood stove inside. The house is outfitted well for cooking in. It was clean although if you have an allergy to scents, be warned. Scented cleaner or spray was used. The hot tub was heavy with chlorine smell. The master bedroom was comfortable as reported by our friends. My husband and I slept in the other room in the queen bed. This bed was not comfortable and we kept rolling into the middle. If there was only one person or someone smaller, I think it would be fine. I did let the owners know in my review. Overall, this is a lovely spot and the stars were wonderful. Heard elk bugling in the mornings.

Being close to the Nisqually entrance to the Mt. Rainier National Park, the River House is perfectly located. The home is comfortable and serene with the little river out back where you can sit and relax in the evenings after spending the day experiencing the magic of the mountain.

We flew into Seattle early from Chicago & immediately visited the Space Needle & Chihuly in the Garden, which were both great, but we weren't completely immersed in the beauty of Washington state until we got out of the city & drove to The River House. To stay within sight of Mt. Ranier was so special, and the entire property exudes calm and makes you feel blessed to be there. We were visited by a single deer as we sat by the river, and then a mother with her doe walked between the houses. As we enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub and were marveling at the stars, we saw a meteor! Beyond the beauty of the outdoor space, the kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked and the bedrooms were thoughtfully arranged with extra blankets, pillows, and even fans! If we were ever to be in the state again, we would definitely stay and have zero hesitation recommending it to others!

This cottage was super for my wife and I in all the important ways. It was close to the popular Paradise entrance to the Park. Very important consideration for early entry if not on a timed entry permit - car lines car be a mile long for entry and full parking lots. Absolutely great location sitting in the quiet by the creek or enjoying the hot tub. Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Owner was super responsive.

This property felt warm and cozy right when we opened the door. Very clean and comfortable. Sitting by the river outside was very relaxing. The fire pit came in handy for s’mores. Very easy to check in and out. Would 100% recommend to stay at this house!
