Stayed May 27, 2026The hosts were on top of every issue we had. The power was out before we arrived and they let us know ahead of time. They helped us find everything we needed to get through the outage and gave us updates. Communication was great. It rained so we weren't able to enjoy the property fully but it was beautiful. Beds and blankets were so comfortable.

Stayed May 23, 2026Highly recommend this spot for a visit to southern Oregon. 2 hours to summer lake refuge and super convenient to Crater lake and the Klamath Lakes. It lies on wood creek which I would love to go back and kayak and paddle board on. We saw some folks fishing from a boat, looks like prime trout habitat. The place is charming, great stove for cooking and nicely stocked spices and condiments for your convenience, which most places don't offer and that's helpful in a small town. Beds are comfortable. The deck is so great for watching the sun go down. We also played cornhole which was in the storage room, yay. Also, has a great fire pit. We hope we are lucky enough to return. Tip: fill your gas tank in a nearby city before you arrive. Chiloquin only has a cardlock station, so we ended up driving to Sand Creek. (20 miles away).

Stayed May 21, 2026Beautiful, lots of waterfront, spacious yard. All the things you need to make a fire in the fire pit, including tools to roast the marshmallows with! Lots of games, well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, ample natural light. And, easy drive to Crater Lake. Jo’s Motel, 2 minute drive, has an impressive selection of organic produce and groceries!

Stayed Aug 19, 2025Great place to stay. Almost didn't need to leave to enjoy nature. Crater Lake Park is close by and can't be missed, but the property itself has access to the nice creek with fishing the stars at night were awesome. Had everything we needed. Host was great communicator as well. Internet winked out but host was extremely responsive and had it up and running in no time. Great stay

Stayed Aug 10, 2025What a great place and is better than advertised! The huge yard with a river running through it; you can float 3 hours from the top and exit right at the place! The stars are amazing and Crater Lake is just up the way. Hosts are awesome and check-in/out was clear and easy. Will be staying again for sure!

Stayed Aug 2, 2025This house is full of charm and character. Each day I found something new to admire that told just a bit more of a story. We like to eat in and this kitchen had plenty of bowls and pots and pans. The owner also stocked aluminum foil which always comes in handy. There is no dishwasher, but there is plenty of hot water. It was pleasant to see the river from several windows. The location is serene and only a short drive from Crater Lake NP.

Stayed Jul 20, 2025Lovely home with a ton of outdoor space for the kids to play. Loved the river running through the property, even if no fish were cooperating during our visit. This place is perfectly outfitted to be home base for your visit to an amazing National Park!

Stayed Jul 17, 2025What a beautiful and peaceful place. The perfect base for exploring Crater Lake Park. The house had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back deck, watching the river flow by and enjoying a glass of wine. I would recommend The Rivet House ti anyone looking to stay in this part of Oregon.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025This home offered plenty of space to relax inside and out, a well-appointed kitchen, and all the “extras” needed to make it feel like home. The multi-device outlets in each room are nice touch. And the location is perfect to get to Crater Lake. It felt like staying in my Grandparents house - very homey.

Stayed Jun 24, 2025The property is much bigger than the description indicates. It is well landscaped with several picnic tables down by the river. The porch is huge with good birding and outdoor dining. Can’t beat the location for a convenient entry point into Crater Lake NP.

Stayed May 30, 2025This location is amazing with the large yard and flowing river that wraps around the property. The layout of the house works well and would fit a good size family. We only needed one bedroom so it felt very spacious. It was so pleasant to sit on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee watching the sunlight shine on water flowing down the river. Melted away any stress I had. The fire pit was great as well.My only regret was that we booked this as a 2-night stopover on our trip from Seattle to Lake Tahoe. After staying here, I wish we had skipped Tahoe and just booked the full week at the River House.
