The Retreat - Northwest

Everything we needed was there. We weren't cooking much. A few plastic/non-breakable plates/bowls would be nice to have, for the use of a child with us. Host was available and responsive. The upstairs toilet was leaking a little bit, but our host responded quickly with letting us know a plumber would tend to it asap after our visit.

The home met our family needs with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location in OKC is great and close to major highways to get all around the metro. The host provided excellent communication for everything we needed.

Our stay was okay. There was a miscommunication over the check in process. House had a smell. It was good for what we needed it for!

It was a welcoming home and so nice! Plus proximity to the fairgrounds and food was wonderful.

Very nice house! Comfortable and clean. Loved the backyard. Our only reason for 4 vs. 5 stars is that the water pressure in the upstairs bathroom was literally a trickle; so bad that water did not even come out of all of the holes of the shower head. It was nearly impossible to wash one's hair.

Love the place. Nice vibe. Very accommodating for 3 people. Friendly host. Kitchen and bath amenities nice. Great backyard for dogs. Would have liked some storage in rooms to put clothes, etc. TV’s in the rooms would be nice. Maybe add an umbrella outdoors, upgrade the space. Overall very nice!

Perfect for family

This home away from home was clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. My dog enjoyed the fenced back yard and watching neighbors walking dogs and children going to school out the front door.The kitchen was well appointed for me to fix a birthday dinner. We were in town for a golf tournament and the home was near stores and restaurants.

The property is in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything you might need. Very clean and extremely comfortable beds and couch. A well kept house.

First of all, our host (Jimmie) was amazing. Very communicative and detailed. The home is a very old property but has a nicely updated interior. The beds and pillows are super comfy. The bank yard is securely fenced so our dogs were free to roam. There are some points on the exterior that could use some updating such as some wood rot and touch up paint and the garage (where the washer and dryer are located) is dank and musty smelling but free of clutter. There is an old carpet in the main bathroom that could be replaced but that's a minor item. The neighborhood is an older neighborhood with similar houses. It's a quiet neighborhood and the location is very convenient to main arteries that grant easy access to other areas of the city. None of the issues I mentioned would prevent me from staying again. In fact, I would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us!

Location was near things to do making it perfect for OKC adventure, back to house to clean up and relax, and then back to events. Property description was very accurate. Communication with host was great. Would stay again.

As an older house, It is nicely renovated and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood is quiet and close to many stores and restaurants. A short drive was Lake Hefner with wonderful walking trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

After a hiccup on getting the right code for the front door, we had a nice stay. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has the basics that you need and TV was nice. Close to stores and restaurants. Owner has done some nice updates to an older home. Communication was great and Jimmey was responsive to all questions that we had.

It is one of the cleanest VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed in. It is on a very quiet street but just off of May so it is accessible to everything. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable. The backyard was perfect for our dog. I would definitely stay here again. I am adding it to my list of favorites.

Came to OKC for a youth event, our days and meals were all at the event so we just needed a comfortable place to rest, wash up, and hang out before and after the event. This house was perfect for what we needed. Only had five in our group, but eight could still be comfortable.

The home had some issues, which we discussed with the owner and were in contact with him throughout the stay. There was a lot required of us to do before checkout, which is weird since there is also a cleaning fee. The home was sufficient for our stay. We loved how central it was to everything.

We had such a blast here just getting together and hanging out. A beautiful neighborhood and it was close to a lot of convenient spots! Thank you for the perfect stay!

We stayed at this property February 2024 and loved it! Very nice and has everything you could need in the kitchen!Also has a great backyard for our pets to be able to join us!

we were comfortable and had alot of fun appreciated being able to watch xmas movies and only problem we had was neighbors were a bit loud with their music. fun times we will be back

Nice house. Plenty of room for 6 people. We brought our dog. Nice big fenced in yard for her to play. Would stay here again.

This property came as advertised with an excellent location. Nothing to criticize from a picky guest. Very happy with the stay and the updates to the Kitchen and Bathrooms. I would stay again.
