Stayed Oct 24, 2025I want to start by saying Matt was wonderful as a host. He was quick to respond with a few issues we had. This review does not reflection him whatsoever, but I do feel the need to be honest when writing reviews. The home was listed as two parking spaces in front of the house. However that was not the case as it is a extremely busy Street and a large truck and trailer park in front of our house each day and night. We had to park a few houses up and walk to the home which wasn't a huge issue, just slightly inconvenient ( just a heads up you better know how to parallel park). When we arrived in the home the temp was set to 58 ( it was freezing ) the home is equipped with a smart thermostat that is touch activated and was very difficult to get to 68 let alone 70 when it was in the 40s outside. The thermostat would only go back to comfort mode and kick the temp back down into the 60s. I had let Matt know the issue and he even offered to bring us heaters late at night. After some fiddling every couple hours we got it to stay at 68 the next night ( still a bit chilly but manageable). My biggest complaint would be the hot tub. I have never in my life been in a pool or hot tub that had such a high chlorine level that it literally choked you when you turn the Jets on from the fumes. Children and adults had rashes, my grandfather's shirt and swimming trunks were bleached. I'm not sure if they just treated it right before we stayed but we definitely were not able to enjoy it.

Stayed Oct 17, 2025I shared this feedback directly with the host after our stay but unfortunately never heard back. Overall, the place has potential, but it really needs a deep clean. When we arrived, there was a strong marijuana smell throughout the house, and the garbage disposal was in very rough shape — it smelled absolutely putrid, like sewage or something rotting, and there were flying bugs coming out of it. The smell was so bad we had to block off that side of the sink completely with water. We even bought and lit five candles just to try to mask the odor.Between the general cleanliness issues and the sketchiness of the neighborhood, it definitely didn’t feel worth the price we paid. Hopefully, the property gets a proper deep cleaning and maintenance before the next guests arrive, because it could be a decent option with a bit more care and attention.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025This property is decent, nicely furnished. We loved the large table for everyone to sit at and the bed were comfortable. The bathrroms were great too with nice decor and hot showers with good water pressure. We did run into a major issue with some kind of bugs in one of the rooms. The property managers tried to rememdy the situation, gave us some of our money back and did some extra cleaning but the problem persisted. I think they are still working out some issues because the listing looks to be new.

Stayed May 29, 2025We stayed here two nights for my step daughter’s graduation. We are from out of town. The house is nicely remodeled. However, I didn’t think the back door lock was secure enough. It felt loose. Also, the bathrooms weren’t clean enough. There was hair on the toilet and shower. The shower liner was moldy. The bathroom rug in the hall bath was very dingy. It needs to be replaced. The beds were very small and hard. It felt more like a full size. I liked how all the bedrooms had fans. They come in handy when you’re trying to drown out the loud music being played a few houses down. It was so loud and they didn’t cut it down until after 12 am. We had to be up at 3 am to get on the road. We had 12 hours to drive. The couch in the living room was sad but it looked like it was steam cleaned recently. The extra linens had hair on them. I didn’t use them I just opened the cabinet. You’ll be parking in the street so you better know how to parallel park. Get there early so you can find a spot bc further down are tow away signs. The neighborhood is ok. It’s a mixture of people. In my personal opinion, I think it’s a gentrified area. The backyard grass needed to be cut but we didn’t go back there bc it was cold and raining so not a huge deal. The host communicates well. Honestly, just clean the house up and it’ll be alright.
