Stayed Sep 28, 2025Hot tub was awesome! The host was amazing and accommodating - I had to ship some materials to the house before I arrived. I was disappointed that they had a grill that wasn’t useable, disappointed in the stains on the carpet in many of the rooms, and I hoped to be able to watch NfL football on tv, but the channels weren’t available.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025The property was perfect for our needs. The home is nicely decorated and the bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful. The layout of the house is perfect, and the the house was immaculate. While the location makes you feel as if you are in the country, it is still super convenient to anything you might need. We were busy the whole time we were in the area, so we did not get to enjoy the nice deck and hot tub, but it looked amazing! The owners were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this place!

Stayed Apr 11, 2025Easy to find, check in was simple, house fully stocked with everything we needed. Nice area and some good restaurants. Hot tub and porch were very nice, beds comfy, its not the best VRBO I ever stayed in, but its pretty good. Owner was excellent with communication. Just remember guest bath water is backwards, hot is cold and cold is hot.

Stayed Dec 12, 2024My oldest daughter and family live in Cookeville. The rest of the family all came to spend a long weekend. 5 adults and 5 young children. The Red House was perfect for our group and close to my daughters home.

Stayed Jun 30, 2024We were in the process of selling a home in another state, and moving to the cookeville area. We needed a place to stay for a week with our dog until we could get the paperwork done on our new house. The jouse was wonderful. Even our very shy and fearful dog was right at home. My favorite part was the back porch it was do nice to have coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening out there. The owner Daphne was so sweet snd checked up us to make sure we were all doing well. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in cookeville dont miss out on the property
