-- THE PROPERTY --

Bedroom 1: King Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: Queen Bed | Living Room: Pullout Bed

'The Ranger House' offers 2 well-lit common areas, a front dining room with a wood-burning fireplace and a cozy living room with a wall-mounted flat-screen cable TV.

Start your day by brewing yourself a cup of Keurig coffee at the coffee bar in the kitchen and conversing with your crew about which sites you want to explore. If you encounter some bad weather throughout your stay, drive 13 minutes to reach the Coca-Cola Space Science Center. This Columbus State University facility boasts a learning center, a space observatory, and a variety of interactive exhibits for you to explore.

We stayed for our son’s TG ceremony. It was perfect for what we needed. We enjoyed the large family room and the swing on the back porch. I cooked most of our meals and they have a nice big table we enjoyed gathering at.

Nice location for a weekend visiting our son in the Army. Easy access to the freeway and all locations around Columbus and Fort Benning. Minutes from downtown.

Things worked, mostly. Bottom oven didn't heat. Roaches on the ground. Cabinets dirty. Lots of old dust. Shower curtain moldy. People in the shower could be seen from the driveway (though the window). No curtains to block street lights. Pretty much all pillows were terrible. Couch cushions were torn. Swing-set unsafe for young children. Drywall patches were unfinished. Safe neighborhood and a house with lots of promise - but not as clean or organized as VRBO properties we've stayed at in the past. I don't often give negative reviews but the more I type, the more I'm remembering. We would likely not return without knowing concerns were addressed.

This house was perfect for my family with lots of room to spread out indoors and a great backyard to enjoy the nice weather. The home could have been cleaner upon arrival but overall it was a great place to stay!

The house is adorable with A LOT of potential - spacious interior, large yard and located near Ft. Benning. It has a lovely fireplace, large dining table for a large family gathering, a picturesque window seat to enjoy morning coffee and read. The owner is super helpful, and when we had to change our reservation dates, he was very accomadating despite it being short notice.Without going into detail, the major issues are that the house needs a deep, deep clean and a new master bedroom mattress. There are some other smaller things, all of which I communicated to the owner. In all fairness, he was responsive to my concerns, and seemed to be eager to take care of them to ensure his future guests have a pleasant stay. I sure hope he does, because this is a pretty little house!

We were in town for a week visiting our soldier and the house was perfect. Very comfortable, spacious, and met all of our needs. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Will definitely add to our list of places to stay when visiting Columbus in the future.

The house was as described, comfortable, close to fort moore and many stores and restaurants. Although it could use a deep clean, the main surfaces were clean and usable. The neighborhood was quiet. Check in and check out were ready. Isaac was very responsive to any questions we had. No evidence of any pests, water bugs, etc (which is important to us). The house was comfortable, the tvs were easy to use (so we could relax at the end of the night), there was even a deck of cards!

Easy check in, house was clean & ready for us. Location was great, close to shopping & restaurants but still in a quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable, loved the spacious living room with large comfy couch. Dining room space was great for eating family meals as well as playing card games, plenty of room. 2 bathrooms were great, never ran out of hot water! The furnace would be my only complaint. It was very loud and ran constantly. The filters definitely needed to be changed & I would recommend having someone look at it. But overall, a great place to stay, would definitely stay here again, would recommend!!

This is a very nice property overall. The only complaint would be its level of cleanliness. Pet hair should be removed as best as possible especially in the kitchen and dining area, and a good deep cleaning done maybe quarterly or something. But even with me knowing that I’d still love to utilize the property whenever I’m back in town.

We were here for our son’s turning green ceremony at Ft. Moore and the location was wonderful! It’s a quiet neighborhood close to food and groceries and is only a few minutes from the base. There was plenty of room for 6 people and 2 dogs to be comfortable and the fence back yard made life so much easier. It was well stocked with the necessities when we arrived. The house is older but is very clean and so cozy! We will be staying for future visits and we look forward to our little home away from home. Highly recommend!

My family and I traveled from New Jersey to attend my son Officer Graduation on base. We originally booked a hotel room and decided at the last minute to book a place on Vrbo. It was $400 cheaper. It is an old house it can use some upgrades, but all in all a good place to stay temporarily. What I liked most is that the place is very spacious plenty of room. The house came with all the necessities and parking in the drive way.

The house is in a nice location. The kitchen is nice, but the bedroom, bathrooms, and living area could use some updates. The sheets, towels, and bedding are old and thin, and the furniture is also worn. The carport in the back yard is falling in. The owner was nice and responsive, but this house needs some major improvements and a thorough cleaning, especially in the bathrooms.

Upon entering there were dead roaches on the carpet. First bathroom had dead bugs in the tub. Baseboards throughout the home are filthy. Master bedroom shower had mold and mildew in it. Departed the home immediately and reached out to the host who did not answer. I left a message and Never Heard back from the host. I finally reached out to evolve, sent in pictures of the roaches and filth, and after four hours of calls with Evolve they refunded me. I had no place to go as everything was booked bc of Fort Moore graduations. At 10 pm I found a hotel. It was the most miserable experience ever. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY.
