Stayed Oct 25, 2025The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware and cooking utensils. It was in a nice wooed neighborhood. We were there to see the fall/colors. But we did take advantage of the fire pit in the back yard. Kyle was easy to communicate with.

Stayed Aug 6, 2025There are a lot of pros to the Quack Shack. Well stocked kitchen, lots of games and refrigerator space, fire pit, plenty of beds and nice decks.Kyle, the host, was proactive and responsive communicator. We ended up using the clubhouse pool and it worked out well.We visited when it was pretty hot out and like any 2 story house with a basement, we had freezing children in the basement and hot sleepers in the loft.One of the top rentals I've ever had.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024This house has everything you would need, from the space for a big group down to Kleenex in every room. Kyle was such a great host and very responsive. Not only was he available for any issues, he even came out to the house to bring out sleds for the kids. When we got hit with 2ft of snow in one day during our stay Kyle made sure the snow was removed promptly and we were able to safely leave. This property is perfect for gathering together and making memories, I know our family will never forget our Thanksgiving trip at the Quack Shack.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was the best place to spend a weekend away! The house was not only a fantastic location, but the house itself had everything we needed for the trip. It's hard to find a house that has so many rooms that is suitable for 12+ adults, so we were so happy with how many comfortable beds there were. Highly recommend renting a boat on Opal Lake (5 min away) from Patriot Rentals, they were a great company to work with. Opal Lake is smaller, but gives you everything you need to have a relaxing time (and plenty of sandbars for less experienced swimmers).

Stayed Jul 18, 2024Big A-frame house with plenty of bedrooms for our family reunion in the Gaylord area. Quiet neighborhood. The basement playroom was great; never heard a peep from my nephews.
