It was a great stay and we thank you for sharing your space! Location and house is just as described great landing pad to take in the different sites.

Loved that you could walk to the water from this cottage and that you could bring your dog.

The hosts were incredibly responsive and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their local recommendations for dining and activities were spot-on, allowing us to fully enjoy all that Higgins Lake has to offer.

Great location as easy access to two boat launches and beautiful Higgins Lake! Party store one street over, which is perfect for last minute needed items. Property was extremely clean and completely remodeled. The teens loved the “bunk room” as each bunk is a double. Would definitely stay again.

This was a very nice, clean and comfortable place. It sleeps 8 adults comfortably. The back yard is fenced in which was great for the dogs. There is a very nice fire pit in the side yard. I would go back. N

We had a great time at the Post Office Cottage. The house is well appointed with everything you need from extra towels to a variety of spices. We enjoyed the fire place every night during the frigid temperatures of our January ski weekend. Even the beds are extremely comfortable.

We brought my in laws (from Miami)to Higgins lake for the first time and this cottage was wonderful! Better than expected. Updated, spacious, and close to the lake! We loved the fenced yard for our toddler. Very comfortable furniture and everything you could need in the kitchen! Michelle is fantastic at communicating. Overall a great experience. We look forward to coming back next year!

I coordinate a yearly ice fishing weekend with my friends. We decided to go to Higgins Lake this year. The Post Office Cottage was the perfect place for me and my six friends to stay. There are six beds total, so we had to double up in one of the queen beds, but there are two couches that could have been used. The place was extremely clean and there was plenty of parking for everyone. We really liked the fact there were all of the kitchen appliances that one would need for a long stay. There was even a crock pot available! They also had basic showering needs such as soap and shampoo if you needed that. The owners stayed in close contact with us during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed and made sure with specific instructions on departing the property. All of us that stayed there were impressed with the property. It sits only a block off of the lake, so we were able to get on and off the ice very easily. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the Higgins Lake community.

We rented this cottage for a weekend of cross country skiing. It was a perfect home-base for our adventures! The house was clean and well-appointed and the hosts made it a great and easy experience!
