The Portage Place: 3BR 2 mi from ND w/ king suite

The Portage Place is a charming 1920s home with many original architectural features and modern conveniences. We’re located in a historic South Bend neighborhood only 2 miles from the Notre Dame campus.

Check-in: Our check-in process is all via keypad, so there is no need to worry about lost keys or locking yourself out!

Parking: Street parking with a dedicated parking lane is available for any vehicles. Do NOT use the driveway - it looks like ours, but it's our neighbor's!

Mudroom: This is the perfect place to stash your shoes, keys, and purses! The coat closet is fully stocked with hangers, and we've supplied umbrellas and ponchos just in case there's inclement weather.

Living room: The living room is the ultimate hangout space, featuring a 55 smart TV, a Lovesac brand sectional, and board games for your use.

Dining room: The spacious dining room, located off the living room and kitchen, comfortably seats 8. We offer place settings, flatware, and drinkware for you to enjoy meals at The Portage Place.

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, knives, cooking utensils, baking sheets, cutting boards, and appliances. As a bonus, you can enjoy the breakfast nook right off the kitchen!

Bedrooms: The Portage Place has three bedrooms upstairs (adjustable Tempur-Pedic king bed in the primary bedroom, queen bed in the second bedroom, full bed in the third bedroom) as well as the option for a fourth queen-size bed in the living room on the convertible Lovesac couch. We also provide a pack-and-play.

Bathrooms: The Portage Place has 1.5 bathrooms. The upstairs full bathroom has a shower/tub combo, and the downstairs half bath is located off the back entryway. We provide all bath linens and shower essentials.

Yard: The Portage Place has a large tree in the front yard that provides shade on sunny days. It also has a spacious fenced backyard, patio seating, and a propane grill.
