The Poolside Paradise Retreat

Host was very responsive. The game room was well equipped and kept the teenagers busy.

My daughter fell in the hallway and hit her head and hit her chin on the strip between the carpet and the hard floor there’s a nail sticking up. She ended up with four stitches not happy.

Very good stay and a very good place to have a great time

Great huge pool and lots of rafts. Great yard for our dogs and beautiful new fence with pretty lights. Plenty of room. All basics we needed. House was nice but towels could’ve been newer. Beds were comfortable. Kids loved the bunk bed. Negatives - There were a ton of palmetto roaches, most dead but it freaked us out. Mice droppings in the kitchen drawer. Needs a regular exterminator and thorough cleaning under the couches. Screened in porch was ripped almost everywhere.

It was a great stay, this house was exactly what we were looking for. Its location was about 8-10 min from Downtown, and about 15ish from Silver Springs. On arrival door code opened up the home to a very comfortable living room, large flat screen TV with A very cozy couch and love seat recliners. The kitchen is very spacious with a kureg coffee bar with plenty of sugar creamer and coffee cups. There was also a small microwave and an Airfrier!! Worked great for reheating our Mellow Mushroom pizza and Calzone. I want to note there was everything you needed to cook and bake at this rental. Made it feel like I was home. There was a farm style dinner table that sat 6(I think?). And of course large sink, a dishwasher that works very well, and a nice size fridge that kept everything cold. I did appreciate the bag of ice too.. There was a spacious game room with another couch and tv as well as the washer and dryer (new I might add). Moving outside there is a covered screened in porch with a large flat screen TV outdoor table and chairs with a basket full of towels. The pool deck made for plenty of room to walk around, and there were nice pool loungers with a big umbrella. I will add this, you will probably have to skim the pool before you get in. It’s no big deal, there’s just a bunch of oak trees around so debris getting in the pool is gonna happen. You’ll be fine. Lol! Fire pit was nice with chairs, but didn’t use it. 10/10 recommended this place to everyone!!

We were traveling to the area to show at WEC. We were a small group who wanted to be close to the show grounds, stores and coffee! We also wanted to have a place to relax and be able to have our dogs!This property worked out great for us!

Our host/property manager provided the best service I’ve ever had at a property. My family evacuated from hurricane Milton and stayed here during the storm. They were very helpful, and understanding about the situation we were in. They were flexible with a few things to accommodate the situation we were in, and upheld everything they said they would. On the first day we realized the microwave was not working and the property manager went to the store and brought us a new microwave within an hour. The house was super cute with lots of extras that kept us entertained. I can’t thank them enough. Best host ever!

I recently stayed at this VRBO property and had a disappointing experience that compelled us to leave a day early. While the house appeared relatively clean at first glance, we encountered a severe roach infestation. We were appalled to find roaches running across my wife’s food in the sink and noticed them in the bedrooms as well. Roaches pose a high risk of disease, making the situation even more unacceptable. Additionally, there was no pool cage, which led to debris accumulating in the pool, though that was secondary to the main issue. Furthermore, if you prefer comfortable beds, I’d advise steering clear, as they were far from relaxing. Overall, this stay was unenjoyable, primarily due to the roaches, and I cannot recommend this property.

This property was exactlyas described. It is clean and perfect for what my family needed for our vacation. We will most definately rent this one again when we visit Ocala. Many thanks to our host.
