A very nice property on the lake. It worked very well for four couples and was a good place out of which to base our stay on the North Shore.

The property was exactly as shown in pictures. This is our second stay at the property and it was wonderful. Communication with the host was great and we encountered no problems with the property. Very well equipped, exceptional views to Lake Superior and located near many hiking trails. We will be back!

This was a great experience. The property is very well appointed, beautiful decor and extra clean. It was exactly as described and even better. We had 4 sibling couples and had some wonderful meals and lots of great experiences gathered around the table and in front of the fireplace. The host was excellent at communicating with us and the whole process was perfect. Would recommend this host and property.

Perfect for our family. Upper bedroom got a little warm. Used garage for one vehicle and bikes-always 83 in there. On site photos show slightly different yard area.

Beautiful spacious house amazing views! Clean, well stocked and very responsive owners. Located between Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock, easy drive to Two Harbors, Duluth, Grand Marais, Lutsen, etc.

We had an amazing stay. Very clean, comfortable and perfect fit for our family of 8. Was our first time staying but won’t be our last!

We had a fabulous time on the North Shore! The house was beautiful and comfortable; we were able to enjoy outdoor spaces, the lovely views and we had adequate sleeping space inside as well. We were close to state parks, dining (about 15-20 minutes) and able to explore the area with ease. Would love to visit again! The pictures don't do the property justice.

This house was amazing! Beautiful views, so much space, everything you needed in the kitchen. We especially loved the screened in porch, fire pit and deck. The house was very clean as well.

This was my family's second stay at this property, and it didn't disappoint again. We all had a great time together from eat meals together to sitting outside on the decks either eating or enjoying the sun. The owners are very responsive and make you feel very welcome.

We stayed here to celebrate a family birthday (70 something) coming from 3 different Midwest locations. House location offered many options for things to do and places to eat. At the house we enjoyed the campfire sitting area down by the lake, the screened porch, and the comfortable living area inside. Lots of space inside with comfortable bedrooms. One suggestion would be to have some outdoor chairs on the deck that would be a little easier to get in and out of. The white chairs on the deck were a bit hard for the older members of our group to use. The key box was finicky to open and mounted too low on the wall. These are minor issues. We enjoyed our stay and would readily come back again.

Great property for a mid-size group. We had 4 adults and 2 young children. The upstairs room has a trundle bed, that worked well for our young kids with us nearby and the other adults had their own spaces downstairs. There is not much yard, so kids played inside/on deck. There are stairs down to the lake, leading to some steep rocks. I wouldn't trust kids down there unsupervised. Big kitchen, great views, nice location. Right on the bike path, with easy access to Gooseberry and Split Rock by bike or Iona by foot.

Wow - the house is beautiful and spacious with breath taking views of the lake. We enjoyed our time together cooking, playing games, walking trails, catching up, and taking in the views. The house was perfect!!! The hosts are very responsive and helpful to any questions we had. Thank you for the use of your house!!! Highly recommend staying here.

7 ladies celebrating our 10th anniversary of our book club.Beautiful breathtaking views of Lake Superior from the moment you walk through the front door and from most of the rooms.Large well organized kitchen with utensils and cookware.Screened porch with blankets .Comfortable beds.Walking/biking trail just a few feet away.Perfect location.

The house beautiful with an amazing view of the lake. 4 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms makes it great for group lodging. Perfect location for hitting the northshore waterfalls. Loved it.

This home exceeded all of our expectations and the online photos do not do it justice. Highlights of this home include: a master bedroom with a king bed, master bath, and an amazing view of Lake Superior. The master bath had a large walk in shower, tub, two sink areas, a separate toilet area, and a walk in closet. There were two other queen bedrooms, both near bathrooms and an upstairs that included a twin bed (separate area with a cute 'tent' design), king bed, crib, futon, full bath, and lots of seating options. The description lists it as a loft, but it's really an upstairs, that gives the guests full privacy. Favorite areas include the large living room with floor to ceiling windows that have a direct view of Lake Superior, comfortable seating for your entire family, and a gas fireplace. In addition, the open concept kitchen, large gas stove (worked great), frig, dishwasher, and a fully stocked kitchen, as well as the large family table were perfect for our group. The outside space was amazing, with an area for a campfire, steps down to the large rocks, a large deck area with seating, and a screened in porch (with an outdoor wine frig). There is a 3 stall garage that we didn't use but it was clean and would have been handy to use in the winter time. The location of this home is in between Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls -- so easy to get to both of these locations! Highly recommend!

We had a winter retreat with friends on the north shore. This was the perfect place for our group. The house was in a great location, had everything we needed and had magnificent views of the lake. We loved the house and our host was very helpful and responsive. Thanks for the use of your house…

Beautiful property, great location, we had beautiful weather for hiking & biking. Had problems with the dishwasher but the owner made it right. We had to be mindful of the hot water so we didn’t run out. Half shower at night, half shower in the morning.

This is our 4th stay here, so we clearly love it. Big, open, clean, stocked, amazing views.

This was our third visit and, as always, we appreciate the nice big kitchen, the stunning views, the layout of the bedrooms, the plush towels and bedding, and the lovely firepit down by the water. We loved the new living room furniture. We only wish the hot water heater could be set to at least 120 degrees. But we still highly recommend staying here!!

What a beautiful setting! Lovely view of Lake Superior. Right on the Gitchi-Gumi Biking Trail. Close to Two Harbors, MN. Between Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Light House! This is our third visit. We love this place. Works well for a group setting.

Great time was had by all.

This property was very clean and had an extremely well stocked kitchen with all the dishes, appliances and utensils we needed. I loved the location, the fire pit, the gas grill and the beautiful views. The four bedrooms gave us all private sleeping quarters. The shared space and kitchen had plenty of room for the 7 of us. My only negative comment is that it got a bit hot with no air-conditioning, even with the overhead and portable fans.

The property is amazing - pictures are accurate. Very comfortable and beautiful setting. Well equipped kitchen and awesome firepit by the lake. We would love to return.

Wonderful location and outdoors spaces along Lake Superior. Fun to watch boats and kayakers go by. We enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen. Spacious house with the perfect bedrooms/great room/deck layout for a family gathering. We'd love to make it back again next year!

This property was an amazing experience. It easily held the 7 of us adults with plenty of bathrooms and plenty of space. A nice walk straight down to the lake to wnjoy on a summer day and a perfect patio to grill as well as stargaze at night. Overall a wonderful experience and the propert managers were very quick to respond and the property was even ready before check in time. I wouod definitely do this place again.

Good vacation home

Beautiful home with unparalleled view of Lake Superior! So spacious and lots of clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Amazing outdoor space to enjoy the weather and the view. The host is so friendly, helpful and responsive. Hope to stay again someday!
