The Owls Nest get away in the Amazing Poconos

This is our second time here as a family. We are already planning our next trip. The hosts are wonderful. They are responsive and professional. The property is clean and beautiful. 5 stars plus more!

Beautiful area with lots of wildlife interaction. Very calm & relaxing. Great time. Kids liked the basketball courts in walking distance.

This property is a great value, lots of other properties in the area are more expensive and are not nearly as nice. This house was super spacious with four bedrooms and would sleep quite a few people. Much larger than we needed but we loved it. Decor was wonderful. We loved meeting Otto the owl. We enjoyed coming back in the evening and being able to enjoy a game of pool, or ping pong or darts or foosball. When you say in a hotel it seems like you just come back to the room and lay down and watch TV, here there is plenty of things to do to keep busy and the evening. We had a fire and were able to sit out and enjoy the outdoors. We had a wonderful moment with a mother deer and her fawn. As we sat by the fire the two deer stood about 10 ft away from us for about 10 minutes and we just sat there and watch them and they watched us. It was magical. Also there is a wonderful basketball court and playground right behind the property with a path that goes down to lake. This was great for walking the dog. Speaking of the dog, I thought it was wonderful that they had a set of dog dishes sitting in the kitchen ready for her. We brought ours thinking we would need them but they had already thought of our four-legged family member. Would highly recommend this property to anyone. Great location close to town but far enough away where you don't feel like you're sitting right in town. There are neighbors but the property has enough trees where you get privacy.

We came for a long weekend and due to the weather being rainy, we spent all of our time in the house. It was nice and we didn’t mind being “stuck in”

Great stay & hosts. Just as pictures. Dog friendly. Great nearby attractions. Comfortable beds. Will recommend & stay again!
