The Overlook | Luxury Lakeside Home with Dock

This vacation was a dream for all of us. A coed bachelorette trip. We swam, ate, played games, and laughed. This property made that very easy for us. The kitchen is well stocked, the propane firplace down by the water is dreamy (make sure to lift the tray and turn on the main propane tank before trying the ignitor), loved having a big dock to hangout on and dive off of. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. I can see why the reviews are so good. Small recommendations include: more cutting boards/serving platters and a repaint/upgrade on the extra chairs down by the water, which were clean but looked otherwise. If this place had a hottub, it would be off the charts, especially in the winter. Thank you for a magical stay. Im sure we'll be back again!

We had an amazing stay at this house in Harrison! From the moment we booked, the hosts were incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions quickly, which made everything so easy and stress-free.The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had such a great vibe. The location was perfect—close to everything, yet still peaceful and relaxing. It truly felt like a home away from home.We had a fantastic experience overall and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. Personally, I think that it is meant for four couples we had two senior adults and one senior senior mother. It was little inconvenient to have everybody their own room. This is my mighty, but overall, it was excellent holiday for our family members, thank you

The Place was beautiul and looks exactly like the pictures on line. Host was quick to respond on any questions we did have.

This house has a stunning view of the lake! Great communication with the property manager. That said, the interior and outdoor deck could use a good, thorough clean and found the house to be a bit run down for the price.

Spacious, peaceful and outstanding views! Has everything you could possibly want in a getaway. Close to town as well.

We booked this property overlooking the lake because we knew we might be having a wet and rainy vacation getaway. The house was so spacious, and there were so many cozy nooks. We played boardgames, did crafts, read, and cooked, all while looking at the beautiful lake and mountains out the window. The backyard was breathtaking. At night, the string lights automatically turn on, and it feels quite magical walking to the pier and gazebo. However, we weren't actually able to turn on the fire pit. The village is only a 5 minute drive away, and we were able to soak our feet at the Harrison hot spring source. We had a 3 month old travel with us. The house had alot of helpful children gadgets, like a bassinet, pack and play, bibs. It was also fully stocked with books, toys, boardgames, (puzzles?), and many kitchen tools. We would love to come back and stay again in the future with more family! We look forward to experiencing another family trip here, hopefully in the summer, so we can make use of the private dock!

Great location, Clean cottage

My friends and I had a great time visiting this home in Harrison. The hosts generously stocked the kitchen and house with useful tools and essentials which made cooking, swimming in the lake and generally enjoying the home so much easier. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the views and comfy inn some more. There is so much to do on the property it's hard to pull yourself away (but if you do the village is so close by).

We stayed at this beautiful lakefront house in Canada during the off-season in November, and it was an incredible experience. The house itself is great—spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with everything we needed. The location is equally impressive, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. The host was excellent, providing all the necessary information in a timely manner, which made check-in and our entire stay seamless. We never had to contact them directly as everything was well-organized and clear. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay one more night! This home exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, even in the off-season. We hope to return again someday!

Home has all you need. Peace, Quiet, and pure relaxation. Our group of 4 (myself, spouse & my parents) had a great time. (Ages 40’s & 60’s) Enjoyed the home and lake views. Fire pit down by the lake was a favorite of ours. There is a clear path that is well lit with lights at night from the home to the lake. We brought walking sticks and had my parents utilize those on the path to the lake (wasn’t needed, but had just in case). Although there is a tv in the upstairs loft area. We only used it once on a movie night. All other time spent in this home was quality time. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our host also provided a complimentary bottle of wine and fresh package of coffee (which we enjoyed both by the fire pit I referenced). The provided WiFi was a huge plus as some of our phone providers did not have the best service once we entered Canada. Our host was very responsive to all inquiries leading up to and during our stay. Even on the weekend, responses were very quick. This was very appreciated. Highly recommend.. plan to return in the future.

This was an awesome place. Great location, comfortable stay, and nothing beat the sitting area by the water. So relaxing…would definitely stay again!

The property is fantastic! We launched our kayaks from the dock and paddled up to Rainbow falls and around Echo Island. The kids had a blast at the water park in town. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. Great place to stay!

Very nice house and beautiful property and great location on the lake. Beautiful dock and amazing patio on the lake. Location is close to everything.
