Stayed Jun 5, 2025Even though it rained we checked in after we went the wrong way called the owner he picked right up an gave me great directions the house was just what we wanted nice big rooms nice deck outside to sit very peaceful an quiet good parking although you might want to back in the parking lot it’s on a small slop my fiance loved it an if she gave it a 9.5 out of 10 then to this place it’s about 5 minutes to the outdoor pools,golf course,go carts an bumper cars it’s about 10 mins to the waterpark so great location we will definitely come back in the near future.

Stayed Mar 21, 2025The property was exactly as advertised! Great place for my dog. It was clean and inviting, the host was welcoming and checked on us throughout the stay. They offered great restaurant suggestions and went above and beyond when I left and important item at the property! Highly recommend!

Stayed Dec 27, 2024Overall, the house was the perfect size for our group. An older house but met all of our needs. Quick drive to the slopes and if the weather was good we could have even walked if we wanted too. Communication before check in and during our stay was quick. Would stay here again. Only negative was one of the tvs in the bedrooms would not cut on and one bedroom tv was missing batteries. But not a deal breaker as we only used them at night anyway.

Stayed Oct 25, 2024House was fine however does need some work on the deck and instructions for use of the tv, never could get it to work in the living room. Also the ac/heat was a challenge to operate since it got cold and was hard to operate for heat. Some of the lamps were not working either. The driveway parking is very much a challenge as well

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I've always heard about Massanutten from other families that have children attending JMU. We visited this past weekend for our daughter's graduation. The owner was very helpful and reached out to me prior to my arrive and during our time in his home. We had plenty of space and the home was comfortable for our family of 8. It was a short ride to the JMU campus with plenty of activities and restaurants nearby. It was a fun stay & hope to be back in the future!

Stayed May 16, 2024This was a great place for our extended family group to stay during a wedding weekend. Most listings in our budget had too many rooms with multiple beds to allow for privacy. As others have noted, it is not a brand new house but it was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts did an excellent job of replying to questions and sending the check in information.
