The Orange House - Only 4 Minutes from LU

Great little house for the weekend. Laundry, 1.5 baths. Good beds. The house did not have electricity the first day on one section of the house (living room, light entrance). Second night, the electricity went off by the bathroom (we had to use it in complete darkness with our lantern) and kitchen. We had to find the panel and turn it on. After I used the laundry and the microwave, it went off again. If they fixed that issue, the house is perfect for a visit to the students at Liberty.

Easy check in; all necessities were provided. Everything was just as the host promised so we didn’t even have to bother him. My only comment would be that it really is more comfortable as a four person stay than six. The bedrooms aren’t really big enough to comfortably have the inflatable mattress set up. But overall, a great experience!

We loved this property. It was close to Grandmas house, comparable price to a hotel room, and provided space for my 3 and 10 year old to play.

The property is dated, with older carpeting on stairs and upstairs. Not enough toilet paper, most soap dispensers didn’t work. Beds, firm, but comfortable, pillows were very flat. Light on microwave didn’t work, so it was dark when cooking. Washer dryer were great. Location was great for Liberty. Lots of food options and shopping.

Clean and convenient location close to our destination. Good owner communication, would stay here again!

Loved the convenience to Liberty University, Walmart and Sam's Club, restaurants, etc. Quiet neighborhood. Appreciated being able to provide some of our own meals during our 4 day stay. It was so nice to be able to cook my college student a home-cooked meal each evening. Robb was very responsive to my messages. Thanks for a comfortable place to stay while visiting our son.

After staying at the unit next door, I immediately knew this unit would be the same. Robb is so quick to respond and I always feel safe.

First Class All the Way!

We stayed over Easter weekend and toured local colleges. It was a convenient location, kitchen well stocked for our needs, plenty of soaps, detergents and the coffee bar was a nice touch. I definitely would not list this as accommodations for 6 people. There are two double/queen beds and if you need more beds an air mattress. It worked for our daughters as they are young and small in size - one slept on the downstairs couch (that does not pull out). If we had 6 adults the accommodations would not have worked. Also, the outside trash can was overflowing. Overall it fit our needs for the weekend and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect home for our Family Visit. Will definitely use it again!

This was great for a family of 4 and was a great location, convenient to so many area attractions. Overall was clean, beds and sheets were great. Floor was a little sticky and there were several dirty dishes that were put away- but nothing that could not be resolved.We had a great weekend and would stay here again.

We had a great stay and the property manager had great communication. Beds were comfortable, washer & dryer worked great, wonderful location for Liberty parents to be close to campus. We will look to stay there again in the future when we visit. Thank you!

We had a fun week with our granddaughter at Lynchburg. The location of the orange House was perfect! Nice 70’s -80’s vintage duplex apt. With updated minimalist furnishings. Refreshing. Very accessible host.

Everything was as expected (one exception - amenities include “desk”, but is really a coffee table that lifts up- not ideal for remote working but made it work) Location was perfect for us. Water pressure is pretty low and we were not able to use more than one water source at a time. Owner says there are plans to correct this. Communication with owner was great and bed was comfortable!
