Honestly, all of it stood out. The host’s communication was exceptional, the amenities allowed us to truly relax and enjoy time together, and the overall atmosphere of the home made it feel welcoming and comfortable—like we were at home. The balance of family time, privacy, and outdoor activities made the experience especially memorable.

This property has everything you need and more! You can tell David and Laura prioritize the comfort of their guests. The house is spacious, beds are comfortable, toilet paper is good quality (not something you typically find in a rental). The furnishings are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need - appliances, pots, pans, dishes, spices, and much more. We stayed for a week and ate every meal at the house, with the exception of dinner one night. Our teens enjoyed the ping pong table, used the bicycles and the inner tubes and pool noodles. David checked in on us and answered questions and was very responsive and informative. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The house was beautiful and very well stocked. Dave was the best host! The A/C went out and he had it fixed within a few hours. There were kayaks and bicycles available for our use. Would highly recomnend this place!

We had a wonderful stay! This was the perfect spot for a relaxing family vacation. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed spending time at the boat dock and around the fire pit in the evenings. The setting was peaceful, and we felt right at home. Very happy with our stay — we’d love to come back!

David consistantly tried to make our stay the best.

My family gathered for Christmas in KY this year. Our host Dave was amazing. We had everything we needed to celebrate. The house was decorated and the kitchen had every imaginable necessity to cook some big meals. To say the kitchen was well stocked is an understatement. Dave was personable and attentive and had great suggestions for dinner and Christmas Eve service. If we travel in the area again and need a big house for all of us we all agree we would stay there again. The surrounding area was great for hiking and exploring.

We had a fantastic stay in this property. It was a great location and stunning in the fall.The tree colours and surroundings were breathtaking. The home was fully equipped with everything you could need and more. The beds were comfortable and the living area's and outdoor amenities were excellent. We had 6 adults staying for a family get-together and couldn't have wished for a nicer place to spend it. David was a excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. Our hearts were full when we left. Would definitely stay here again.Thank you x

We had a great time. House was very big and clean.

Overall, we had a great stay at this house. The location is walkable to the boat ramp and has an easy parking spot for 1 boat (the turnaround is a bit tight, but do able) and a spacious 5 bedrooms. The owner was very hospitable. He came to check on us 3x in our 4 night stay. While I believe this was with good intentions, it did make us feel like we were being watched as he would just swing by since he was in the area.

We were a group of 7. 3 couples plus 1. 5 big bedrooms and 3 full baths made it great for us to spread out. The owner went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate all of our needs AND wants! This house provides bikes, float tubes, kayaks, fire pit, cornhole, yard Yahtzee, and many other games to entertain us! Everything was 5 stars! I only rated the location 4 stars because it does take 20-25 minutes to get to a grocery store. Loved the swimming area by the boat ramp! The house was very clean and well kept. I would love to return to this property.

Everything was fantastic for our stay. The Millers were great host with their property. We had much more than we expected and found that in 20+ years of vacationing with our family, this place was one of the best we have stayed in. Thanks for the kayaks, the extra beach towels, the fire pit and so many other things we enjoyed so much. We were close enough to the water to walk and it was not a trip to launch our boat. Great stay.

Our group of six adults had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. All the comforts of home and then some! Everything you need in the kitchen — even plenty of skillets for breakfast. Beds are very comfortable. We all found ourselves saying “we never sleep this late!” Dave was super helpful and very responsive to any questions or small issues that arose. The home wasn’t quite as remote as we had imagined, but it was still very quiet and enjoyable. Kayaks, Bikes, and easy access to the water. Thank you Dave!

Every year for the past 15 years, some buddies I graduated high school with get together for a long weekend getaway at a different lakehouse around the state. This house has been the best we've ever stayed at. Super clean and wonderful amenities (everything from the kayaks and bikes to the fully stocked kitchen). Host communicated well and took a lot of pride in making sure out stay had no troubles. Would happily stay again.

The most well-stocked VRBO we've ever stayed at! Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, kitchen and bath towels. Very courteous and responsive host. No problems with cell phone service for any of us.
