Cozy Lakehouse with Breathtaking Views of Lake Cumberland

Beautiful cozy cottage. Clean and well stocked with essential items. Loved the charm, was better in person. Beautiful view from the deck and we were able to see a bald eagle flying out front.

Everything was perfect. My cousin and I enjoyed every moment at the cabin. It was an extra special visit for us as my grandfather built this cabin in the early 60’s and we vacationed here many times as children. We felt very cozy and close to those memories of those we loved who are now gone. The hot tub addition was a fantastic treat.The only suggestion I might add is some larger mixing bowls and Tupperware storage containers.

Our stay was great! We Loved the hot tub and the grill!We didn't use the deck much but it was nice to have available.We don't have an island in our kitchen design, so it was nice to have and I think we want to include that in our home searching for retirement.The view of the water was nice too!!.Did I mention we Loved the Hot Tub ;-)Our only issue was that both google maps and Waze tried to deliver us to the wrong house, but I contacted Brittany and she steered us right.BTW, The massage place in the listing is closed.If you like sweets, we recommend The Sweet Spot right there in Somerset

We had a great time! View was wonderful. Only issue we could see is if you had too big of a boat. We had a 20ft and my husband was able to back it down the driveway, there were some overhanging trees, but we managed! It’s cute, clean and we would stay here again!

We had a great visit in this house! The location was beautiful and house was nice and clean.

Great place for a long weekend getaway. Only complaints we have are the condition of the grill was unusable and the propane fire ring didnt work...other than that we had a fantastic time.

This property was perfect for my husband and I and it was so nice to get up in the morning with a cup of coffee, walk out and sit in a chair and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Cumberland. This sweet bungalow tastefully decorated was spotlessly clean, and everything had a place , Im picky about bedding and everything was top notch

Great place to stay driveway was a little hard to get my boat in but we managed could use a new mattress in the bedrooms but the sun room was great

Another wonderful relaxing weekend away!

My sister & I were visiting old friends who live in Somerset, but we wanted our own space and quiet time on the lake as well. The cabin is quite charming and the deck larger and better equipped than some others where we have stayed. The combined kitchen and living room area is roomy and comfortably furnished, and the dining table in the sunroom provides a great view while you eat. The second bedroom is obviously intended to bunk children, but the double size lower bunk is comfortable enough for an adult (hint: bring a few wire hangers if you want to hang clothes on the bunkbed rails--there is no closet/hanging rod in that bedroom). We will definitely book this property again, as we usually visit Somerset twice a year, and this is the best suited and most comfortable property we have rented so far.

This is a fantastic getaway. Clean, comfortable, and serene. Gorgeous views a wonderful place to relax and recharge.

Cabin was everything advertised. Quiet, secluded, close to anything we needed to enjoy our week at Lake Cumberland. This was our second stay and there will be a third. Thanks for a great week !

The house was very clean and exactly what we expected it to be. We had a wonderful time!

The stay wasn’t perfect, but it was close! Mother Nature sent us a storm that knocked down a couple of trees that week and blocked the road, but our hosts were on top of it and everything was restored within a day. They made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. We would come back. The grounds and the lake are beautiful. We enjoyed horseback riding, bourbon drinking, a day on a boat on the lake, and hiking in mammoth cave. If you’re willing to drive 1-1.5 hours, you can get to almost anything, and then wake up to views of the lake.

Loved this cabin. Super clean and decorated so cute. So peaceful and relaxing.
