A fully equipped, recently built (2003) beach home with two comfy bedrooms with yummy queen beds, a great room, a private deck outside the kitchen, and a cozy, romantic rooftop living room or a back yard jacuzzi with ocean views and starry, starry nights. Our beach house and decks are protected from the strong winds that buffet the bluffside. Take a walk down the nature path or the road past Pomo Lake to the private, gated beach for five miles of sandy coast, dramatic rocks, and lively tidepools to explore. Or just cross the road and enjoy the thick Mendocino forest. Our home is two fully independent duplexes. Sarah and I have the smaller one bedroom south side, but we are rarely in residence. If by chance we are there during your visit, we are especially quiet and considerate.

I am a repeat guest. Lovely property and host. Cleaning staff is very kind as well.
My gf and I enjoyed our stay at this coastal property. Plenty of room including 2 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen that were all clean. The beach was wonderful.
Nice clean place , hosts were friendly
See the Ocean, hear the power, enjoy the nature right from your beautiful vantage point! Wonderful amenities( jacuzzi, Traeger, roof top viewing). Just too many stairs for me. All in all Wonderful 66 for my Lady
Great stay, as advertised. Nice sunset views, and the hot tub under the stars was lovely!
The light in this property is beautiful as it shines in in mornings! Very relaxing way to wake up! Nook is great spot to curl up with a book. Hot tub is also a plus. Wonderful location to unplug and relax with 2 people ot 2 couples and dogs. Agree cooking and fridge space limited so ne prepared for that and 'green egg bbq' with hickory wood chips (very easy to us) makes wonder meats and veggies
My dog Jack and I enjoyed our stay in this Irish Beach vacation home, one of our favorite parts of Northern California to visit and explore. The home was very clean and nicely appointed and I found the bed quite comfortable. Cooking enthusiasts may find this home somewhat limiting as the refrigerator & freezer space is small and the hot plate, countertop oven/air fryer & outdoor grill present obstacles if you plan to cook for a large group but were entirely adequate to my needs. Vacationers with mobility issues should be aware the house is on a hill and does require negotiating two short flights of stairs for the main entrance, a split flight of stairs for the garage entrance, and access to the bathroom also requires a short flight of stairs. My dog enjoyed the beach access and visiting the remarkably handsome dog that lived in the full length mirror in the walk in closet. We enjoyed our time here and would rent this home again.
This place has a good vibe and I would go back again. Check-in process was easy. Beds are comfy and there's a deck off the dining room that over looks the backyard and hot tub. The fridge is small but it wasn't a problem and there's no stove top but also not a problem because what you need to cook is provided (air fryer, double hot plate). We didn't miss anything and we both like to cook. If you like to grind your beans for coffee, bring your coffee grinder. It's also nice that there's a garage to put your car in and enter through garage if you want to. We had the place (it's a duplex) to ourselves except for one night and that was nice to have the privacy, especially for morning/evening hot tub soaks and talking on the deck. We met the property owner the next morning and enjoyed our conversation and hanging out for a bit. Jess was kindly responsive to any questions I had.
The host was welcoming and went out of his way to make us feel at home. We loved the open floor plan and comfort of the place. The rooftop lounge area was a great spot to relax and enjoy the incredible view. We enjoyed walking around the nearby lake in the morning and took advantage of the Irish Beach access that was a super short drive away every afternoon/evening. It's one of our favorite beaches we've been too. We would 100% come back to this house on vacation again.
Very much enjoyed our stay. Place is quaint and comfortable. It was a joy watching the family of quails graze right outside the backyard. Will definitely plan a return soon.
My mother and I celebrated her 80th birthday at the house and it was lovely. The beach is beautiful and we enjoyed star watching. The house was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our time and hope to come back again.
This home was great for our weekend away!
As soon as I entered the front door, I was absolutely delighted! The place was sparkling clean, the interior was warm and inviting. It had the look and feel of a place that was designed with love. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the plush bath linens to the perfect variety of spices in the kitchen to the beautiful tile work and the wooden blinds. We brought our two dogs with us. They are Chihuahuas and are usually pretty boisterous but they seemed to feel the relaxing vibe. I didn’t hear one tiny bark the whole time. We all loved our little getaway. I can see us returning for a longer stay,
Two bedrooms, basic kitchen, great rooftop deck. My partner has some physical limitations and the small bathroom located up a flight of stairs was difficult for him to use comfortably. Otherwise, a nice escape on the Mendocino coast.
Very lovely stay - comfortable and clean. Good beds, excellent heat for that foggy chill. The only drawback for us was a limited kitchen - we usually do a lot of cooking when we’re traveling and it was a challenge here - but we made it work. The hosts were very welcoming and sweet. I’d go back for sure.
I enjoy the serenity of this property and the beach and look forward to returning.
We had such a blast staying here. Every year we get out of town on the 4th cuz of the fireworks (our dog hates em). This place was perfect for that. Quiet, comfy, great views, gorgeous weather. There are these window benches covered in pillows that are so relaxing to lay on in the morning. The private beach is so gorgeous and huge and wonderful for dogs. Everyone in the town was friendly and sweet. There is an Ace market down the street that has any food or supplies you might need. The hosts were in and out of the place next door but they were so quiet, non-intrusive, responsive, and gave us some cool local tips. We will definitely come back.
The place was clean and in a great spot. Check in was easy and the host was very reachable, but just not near by :-(. We needed some additional towels for 4 folks. The kitchen had an air fryer and microwave, but will be more functional when they install the 2 burner gas stove top. Nice perk to have the access card to drive down and park at the local Irish Beach.
This was perfect for our weekend getaway - close to CA Hwy 1 to explore the coast, well positioned near Gualala, Pt Arena, and Mendocino, and a comfortable home with all that we needed.
Great location and access to a beautiful beach where you can roam for miles. It is small but has all you need. Great for a couple or small family.
We love the Irish Beach area and have visited several times, and this place is a highlight. The location and views are terrific, the place is modern yet comfortable, and Jess is a really great host!
Great home with 2 decks you can enjoy. Perfect for enjoying wine and the views. Quiet, relaxing, comfortable, and peacful. We drank our coffe in the morning and watched the deer. 2 comfortable bedrooms with high quality bedding. Kitchen with everything we needed. Fireplace was so cozy. We already want to come back to this location. 2 blocks to the ocean. 20 min drive to Mendocino and 40 min to Fort Bragg (which was so much fun). 40 min drive to Boonville (Anderson Valley Wine Country) The coastal views and Redwoods are breathtaking on the drive to all the nearby locations. Perfect stay for your wine/spa/brewry/kayak/ocean vacation.
