The Oasis in Key Largo

We stayed at The Oasis for the month of January to get away from the cold in Minnesota. The property is stunning with a beautiful view of the ocean. The sunsets were incredible. The host was very responsive to questions. We needed a few additional items for the kitchen for our longer stay and she allowed us to purchase them and reimbursed us. We also appreciated them allowing us to bring our pups. We would highly recommend this property!

The ocean setting is absolutely magnificent, as is the decor throughout the house. The only problem is that we had a hard time tearing ourselves away from the property to go explore!

WOW! That sums up the initial feeling you get when you enter the grounds at The Oasis Key Largo. As the gate opens, you are immediately greeted by a gorgeous pool with the home in the background and just beyond a view of the Atlantic Ocean. The home itself is beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained for a pleasant stay. The bedding is super comfortable and the picture windows on the second and third floors provide stunning views of the ocean where you can see a variety of sea life. We saw dolphin, tarpon, manatee, sharks, pelicans, blue heron, egret, osprey, magnificent frigates, and so much more. Just sitting in the living areas lounge chairs would be enough to be satisfied with your stay. However, then there is the Olympic size swimming pool with a 35-foot circular feature and sunbathing deck. Relaxing in and around the pool is enough to take the stress of life away while you listen to the ocean in the background. We spent a large portion of the days soaking up the sun in the bathing deck. Everything you need is within a short driving distance from the home including grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and one of our all-time favorite places to grab a meal, Key Largo Fisheries, is within 1/2 a mile from the house. You won't regret trying the Lobster BLT on the menu, or any of the fresh fish and conch items for that matter. Happy hour from 3-5 daily, too, although it's hard to beat happy hour next to the pool and ocean at The Oasis!
