Stayed Jan 3, 2025I have a love affair with late 19th, early 20th century homes. This home was a dream date. I am so happy the owners have preserved the beautiful original woodwork and floors. The updated kitchen had everything we needed. We did not sleep in the guest bed but the main bedroom's bed was very comfortable. The owner was quick to respond although I think we only called him twice in the 6 weeks we were there.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024The house is a couple of blocks to the beach and near many places to eat and shopping in the historic part of Galveston. This house looks like it was built in the 20s and has been renovated and well maintained. Beautiful and charming home. Very comfortable. It's fun to imagine what Galveston was like in it's early days. Everything we wanted to do was nearby. We explored The Strand and the galleries and restaurants on Postoffice. Again, great location in the heart of Galveston.

Stayed Jun 23, 2024I have been taking my kids to Galveston for many years, we have booked a different house every time. This one was an absolute pleasure, the hosts were responsive and responded to any questions I had. The house was PERFECT for me and my 4 kids. Close enough to the beach, quiet and cool, Everything we needed!! I'd strongly recommend this place to anyone!

Stayed Apr 20, 2024Stayed with our 3 y/o for a week to visit the beaches and other local attractions. The neighborhood was great to walk around in with beautiful old houses on Avenue O and nice playgrounds within 15min walking or driving distance. Easy access to the Historic Seaport, Railroad museum, Pleasure Pier, and Moody Gardens made it a great way to have fun outings followed by quiet/nap times in the house. Kitchen was moderately well stocked with cooking gear, and the hosts were very responsive to our inquiries and needs.

Stayed Aug 3, 2023Easy location to get in and out to both main drags. Can easily walk 3 blocks to the pier and at night with the sidewalks it is quiet pleasent. Make sure you park in the correct drive or neighboor may wake you up angry. House has a lived in feel and appeal. Bring a fire stick or roku for the bedrooms.
