The Nostalgic of Old Town

I cannot express how wondering this place was and even more importantly the host! It was valentines day and the whole house was decorated even with chocolates and bubbly! Over and above!

Clean, beautiful and parking right in front!!

Great parking and neighborhood was cute. Could walk to king street easily. Loved the back patio!

Comfortable beds, very clean with great amenities! Loved the record player and the hot tub! Would recommend it to anyone with the warning there is a lot of steps!

Renee was the best host! Communication was great! The record collection was amazing for our family of musicians, the house was a walk to old town and the hot tub was great! The kitchen was reviewed needed. Renee thought of all we needed! We will come again!

Enjoyed the location - easy access to a great walking trail alongside the Potomac; walkable to King St and shopping & restaurants, and parking was easy. House is comfortable and worked well for our family's visit to all be together.

Everything was wonderful, nice, clean and warm

Our hostess was lovely and friendly! The house was perfect. Our group of four running friends stayed for the weekend of the Marine Corps Marathon. This house was the perfect rental for us. We each had our own rooms to spread out in and get good sleep in comfy beds. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking our own food. And the hot tub was our favorite post-race treat. We all greatly enjoyed that. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to groceries and take-out. Walking to the Metro is doable or a quick Uber ride. Overall, a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!

Amazing Home. Charming and Rustic. Very well decorated to reflect the Elegant Old Town Alexandria Style. Extremely close to King Street and all our planned activities. Loved the Hot Tub and all included amenities. Communicatiom with Host was very effective. Had a great time.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this rental was. From communication to cleanliness it was perfection! I went with all adults however, as Mom of 2, I noticed a lot of things there that would make it a great location for a family to stay at as well. It was beautiful, clean, and in such a great location. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful home, bed were comfy, location was amazing. Highly recommend. We enjoyed having access to speaker to play our music and the record player. Would have liked a water dispenser but that's jus a minor personal preference but nothing uber eats couldn't deliver.

We had a fantastic stay at The Nostalgic in Old Town Alexandria. The home was just as described and in a great location. It was an easy 15 min walk to King Street, but the walk is just lovely. The home had nice amenities and comforts of home (comfortable bedding, toiletries, toys for kids, k cups, etc.). It’s a great home. Of note- the home is 4 stories so there are many steps to navigate for guests. We will definitely like to return.

We LOVED our stay at The Nostalgic. It's a home full of character and convenience. The walkability to town was a major plus for us. We loved the access to shopping and great restaurants and Ubers were great to downtown DC. The check-in process was easy and the home was comfortable and clean. The collection of albums was a great perk! Great place to stay! I would highly recommend it!

Loved staying in Old Town and taking the Metro to all the DC sites! Bonus having friends around the corner, too! Sweet place, perfect for our family of 6.

We wanted our children to get to experience what living in the DC area is like. This was the perfect home for that. Exactly what we were looking for. All the levels, decor, the nostalgia, right down to the vinyls. The record player was a huge hit.

The property itself is superb with many outstanding details- we celebrated Christmas early with my son and his girlfriend from Los Angles and Renee had it all decorated for Christmas. The location could not have been better since we wanted to stay and visit old town Alexandria. Renee gave us recommendations for restaurants that turned out to be superb places! I would highly recommend staying at this property!

We consider ourselves so fortunate to have discovered this home for our multiple family get-together for Thanksgiving. The house is incredibly well furnished, comfortable, and is in a great location. The host was so accommodating and available; she went above and beyond on so many levels.

We had an amazing time in this house, 4 kids from 1-13 with us and we had more room than we needed! It is immaculate, clean, and the attention to detail couldn’t be better. It was so clean and organized, but still so warm and inviting. Renee is a wonderful host and couldn’t have been more helpful. She personally took care of an issue we ran into with VRBO when we needed to unexpectedly rearrange the trip. Don’t hesitate to book here!

My family and I were in town for a wedding and wanted to be close to Old Town. We were thrilled to find this charming townhome that offered all the amenities we were looking for. The property was clean, warm and inviting. I would definitely recommend this property to others!

I knew nothing of the area and wasn't sure about distance from DC at first but this fun area, and this house in particular, made our stay exceptional. Our family of 5 loved our stay at the townhouse! It is spacious, comfortable, clean and well-stocked. Renée was very responsive and provided helpful recommendations. The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood and a pleasant 15 minute walk to Old Town Alexandria's shops and restaurants. About a 15 drive to DCA and about 20 minutes to DC attractions and Georgetown University. We would definitely stay again!

Our family was meeting up to explore DC for a week's vacation. We traveled from Hawaii, Europe and Canada and needed a quiet, clean, comfortable and affordable place for our time together. It was all of that and more! Located at the end of a quiet street gave us privacy and security. A nice 10-15 walk from Old Town restaurants, shops and sites. Our host, Renee provided top notch customer service, even lft us a gift certificate to make up for a VRBO booking issue! Responded promptly to questions, gave recommendations that suited our needs - Frankie's, Il Porto and Ada's were great! There is a grocery store, Safeway, minutes away by car. We enjoyed being near DC but not in DC. Arlington National Cemetery, The Lincoln Memorial, Museums National Mall were just a 20+ min or so drive away (depending on traffic). The home is newly renovated a redecorated. Appliances are beautiful. The 3rd floor bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, huge showerhead and a heated-seat bidet toilet!! Compared to the before pictures that we had seen as we made our reservations it was night and day. I felt like I had walked into a home featured in a magazine! The hot tub on the deck out back is definitely worth adding on to your stay. We used it sometimes twice a day! It slept 6 adults comfortably, 7 or 8 if you put 1 adult or 2 kids on the sofa bed. We thought the 4th floor space with the sofa bed, tv, separate AC unit, small bath with shower, laundry and small private deck overlooking the back was a great! Y

It was a very comfortable stay..The beds were comfortable & bathrooms clen. We really enjoyed te hot tub tooo. Nice location also.
