The Neighborhood:

You’ll be right in the heart of Tarrytown — a classic Austin neighborhood locals love for its shady oak trees, walkable streets, and laid-back vibe. It’s the kind of spot where you can grab a coffee, hit the lake, and still make it downtown in under 10 minutes.

- Lady Bird Lake: Hop on the trail nearby for a jog, bike ride, or paddleboard session with skyline views.

- Deep Eddy Pool: A local legend. This spring-fed pool has been cooling Austinites off for nearly a century. Bring a towel, grab a burger at Deep Eddy Cabaret after, and you’ll feel like a local in no time.

- Lake Austin: Just down the street. Rent a boat, or keep it simple with tacos and margaritas right on the water at Hula Hut.

- Mozart’s Coffee: A true Austin hangout. Lakeside lattes, live music, and late-night dessert runs — it doesn’t get more Tarrytown than this.

- Downtown: Less than 2 miles away. Catch a show at the Moody, wander SoCo, or check out Rainey Street, then retreat home to peace and quiet.

Tarrytown is where Austinites go when they want to live a little slower but still keep the city at their fingertips. Stay here and you’ll feel like you’ve found the best of both worlds

The unit is in an area where there are a lot of apartment/condo complexes along a fairly busy road, but it's quiet and comfortable. It's only a 5-10 minute rideshare to get downtown so the location really worked out great and it was cheaper than staying downtown for the F1 weekend. The unit itself is in good shape and had what we needed, although we weren't there much. The second bedroom is a pseudo-loft space with an opening facing the stairs which could be an issue with more people staying there. There are no restaurants, stores or other amenities in the area. Everything is a drive. That was fine with us, but if you want to wake up and walk to a coffee shop, this area isn't for you.Overall, we were really happy with our stay because our needs were simple and the price was right. The management company (Lodgewell) was very responsive and helpful, and they offered an inexpensive late check-out option.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. No negative experience that I can recall. Had an issue with the door lock when checking out, but the host was responsive and got it resolved quickly.

The property was great. Very clean, comfortable and well eqipped. Small kitchen, but we cooked dinner every night in it and had everything we needed. Loved the location! We were close to everything we wanted to do (bat watching, zilker park, the step mountain etc) i definitely recommend!

I had a great stay. The condo was very well furnished, didn’t stink of perfume, and was super conveniently located. I would highly recommend!

This is a lovely, well-maintained property in an excellent location. We stayed here over the winter holidays while visiting family in the Tarrytown neighborhood. The property is a quick two-minute drive to groceries, restaurants and pharmacy, and is very close to Zilker Park. Check-in/check-out instructions were well communicated.

A well appointed kitchen. Loved all the helpful info about things to do in Austin. We actually live nearby but were dislodged for home renovations, and we still enjoyed guide. Only tiny complaint would be that the right side of the king size bed is collapsing toward the edge. Surprisingly, it was still pretty comfortable. Oh, and there is a small loft-like window from the second medriom into the stairwell. This didn't affect us, but it might not work for someone else. It broke our hearts that we had to move to a different property when our construction ran into overtime. Not a shock; I'm sure this place is booked for every UT home game weekend.
