The Nautilus Cottage | Pet-Friendly + Outdoor Pool & Beach Access

I could go on and on!! We’ve vacationed at both Destin, FL and Gulf Shores, AL for years. We usually always make it a point to stay somewhere Oceanside but I was blown away with this property. Clean, plenty of room, has a pool close, a fun fishing pier, on the less busy side of gulf shores, and an EASY walk to the beach right across the road. I would 100% stay again.

Great place to stay if you have transportation to get around. I wish they had a swing or a bench on the lagoon dock to be able to walk the sunset or relax. That would make it perfect. Only mishap was dried blood on one of the bunk beds that they offered to come clean. I ordered disinfectant wipes instead. We love fishing in the ocean and Lagoon. We are hoping to be back for a 3rd year in a row next year.

It was a beautiful place for our family to vacation at the beach. The beach access was super close. The home was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Check in was easy and communication was quick. Thank you!

The location is perfect. Close to the beach or lagoon. Home is clean. Plenty of towels. Stayed at this house multiple years.

The house could have been cleaned better, there were hairs in the shower and a cockroach behind the coffee pot. The pot and pan selection was not very good for cooking meals and the knives were not sharp at all. It would be great if some cleaner could have been provided. There was no broom or quick sweeper for sand and food while cooking. We found ourselves on our hands and knees a lot cleaning up sand and food that had fallen as there was no way to sweep.

This is our second time staying at the little lagoon cottages in 2 different beach homes and it was just as wonderful as the first. The homes are spacious, have plenty of rooms/bathrooms, very clean and well kept. Beach access straight across the street is very convenient and a very short walk. There is also a beautiful view of the lagoon by the homes right beside the pool. We have always enjoyed gulf shores and staying with Itrip at the little lagoon cottages is such a pleasant vacation experience

To expensive, way to many taxes and add ons ridiculous! Remotes mislabeled.

We had the best stay! The house was so clean and the perfect set up for our family. The location of the house was perfect with a short walk to both the bay and beach. We loved the family atmosphere on the beach. There was only one row of chairs/people. Not overly crowded like the condo areas. We will definitely be staying here again!

What an amazing property! Perfectly situated yards from the beach in one direction and the pier onto Little Lagoon in the other. The pictures very accurately reflect how well furnished and comfortable this unit is. I stayed here for a week mid October and absolutely loved the less populated beach that time of year and the quiet of Little Lagoon. Will definitely return for another peaceful retreat!

the place was absolutely lovely to be in. quite surrounding. easy access to the beach and the pier to fish off of. will definitely stay here again!
