Welcome to our charming, cozy, mid-century modern and minimalist unique L'amour house. It is our pleasure to host your stay and to be a part of your memories.

House Rules:

- Check-in: After 4 pm (CST)
-Check out: 11 am (CST)
- Self-check-in with smart lock
Please respect those times as we have guests checking in and out on the same day.

Other things to note:

- L'amour first rule is to Enjoy and Create a memory.

- Copies of Valid Government Photo IDs required upon reservation is confirmed.

- Your safety is L'amour's first priority- we have several exterior cameras for security during your stay. Of course, absolutely no interior cameras.

- The house can accommodate up to 7 guests max. After the first 4 guests, extra $25/guest/night added to the nightly rate. *** Undeclared Extra Guests after 10.59 pm on Check-in Date: $150/guest/night ***

- Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $1000.

- Pet is NOT allowed. Homeowner has pet allergies - $500 Deep Cleaning fee

- Smoking is NOT allowed inside and outside of the house. This includes vaping, e-cigarettes and vaporizers. By accepting the reservation you agree to reimburse us $250 for air cleaning if you do any of the named forms of smoking in the guesthouse.

- Party is NOT allowed - $500 Deep Cleaning fee

- L'amour is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. L’amour is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

- Outdoor patio use hours are 7am - 10pm. Please respect and do not disturb neighbors.

- Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.

- Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.

We hope our valued guests will treat our house just as they would treat their own possessions.

    Booked this place for two weeks for the holidays. The pictures are nicer than the reality. The house is very dark, little natural light and not a lot of ambient lighting inside. The kitchen is super dated especially the stove, making cooking challenging. The back door to the yard cannot be opened, which is frustrating with kids. The AC/heating thermostat was broken, so we were freezing and had to leave after one night and request a refund. Hosts were slow to respond to initial issues. Regarding refunds, we are still waiting for the rest of the refund to be sent. It’s been a huge headache and has required a lot of back and forth with the host and VRBO.

    This house and the care I received from the hosts was excellent! The location was exactly what I needed, as was the layout of the house and the access to a yard and outdoor space. There was a problem with one of the main lights and the hosts responded and found a solution immediately. I would stay here again any day. Thank you for making my stay wonderful!

    House was as advertised and worked perfectly for us. The beds were firm, a big plus. Could have used a couple more hand towels and a Mr. Coffee coffee pot and a can of coffee would be welcome additions. Other than that, it was great. Would stay again.

    What we wish we'd had in... ... the kitchen: a coffee pot, more than 5 forks, serving dishes, serving utensils, a large bowl for something like popcorn or salads, a large stockpot for cooking large volumes of rice or pasta. ...the bedrooms: top sheets on the beds (they were in the closet), one extra blanket on all our beds (we turned up the heat, but the front bedroom is colder than the back ones). ...the bathrooms: washcloths, soap, conditioner. Either the volume of hot water is limited or the hot water heater is not functioning properly, as those who showered in the evening (two of our party of 6) never got hot water (they did get warmish water but had to run the water forever to get it). ...the living room: assorted band-aids in the first aid kit. The living room is sunken, which means there's a step in three doorways. They're well-marked with reflective tape, but I was specifically looking for a one-level home. The host let us know about it the day before we arrived, but I wish I had known before. The week before we arrived, the roof was replaced, so there were nails, staples, and metal in the yard. Wear shoes in the yard. There are large bags of materials next to the driveway that block passenger doors so it is not big enough for two SUVs side-by-side. So cars need to park one behind the other, but it's on a very busy street, so if the front car needs to get out, the rear car needs to drive around the block. The house is not bad, just come prepared.
