We recommend this property for a quiet, relaxing stay. Our dogs really enjoyed the fenced yard!

Stayed with friends and three dogs. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs. This house has views of both the bay and wildlife preserve. The sunrise and sunset over the preserve are especially stunning. Plenty of space for us to gather yet spread out. The dogs loved swimming in the bay. Highly recommend.

As always, the house was spectacular, and the views were breathtaking. I watched all of the sunsets and sunrises from the home. The entry area was perfect for loading and unloading in the rain. There was a variety of different spaces and conveniences, more than enough for the 2 of us. It was very quiet for a good night's sleep after the day's adventures.

We traveled with 5 adults 2 dogs and our 83 year old Mother. Pros: Location. Spectacular views, 2 minute walk to beach, 1st floor accommodations for older adults and pets access to fenced in yard. Tons of space on all 3 floors. The outdoor shower was wonderful! Hosts provide chairs and umbrellas for the beach and 4 bikes (great level area for biking). Hosts were very responsive. Cons: You need to bring your own sheets and towels, not a big deal and you don't pay a cleaning fee, be prepared to clean after stay. The place was adequately clean-kitchen is small and was a little sticky and there is NO dishwasher. We still cooked in and enjoyed the adjacent eating area. There are some shining new additions to this place: 2nd story decks are wonderful but be careful on the top outlook railing. It needs some repair but still the best place to be for sunsets and sunrises. Some of the decor is dated but comfortable. There are TV's everywhere and in every room. We are big cooks and thought we'd miss a gas grill but we didn't the charcoal grill did the job! We did pay for the kayaks but changed our mind and the Hosts promptly refunded. (the bay is perfect for kayaking!) This location in our opinion does require some respect and courtesy to neighbors and nature. If you want a quiet, scenic, natural, extremely dog friendly vacation spot (dogs are allowed on the beach btw) and wonderful Hosts this is the place!

Our stay at Primehook Beach was wonderful! Check-in was easy and the house was perfect for our needs. We traveled with two older individuals who have difficulty with stairs, so the layout of this house was perfect. No stairs to enter the first floor of the home, only a few steps on the outside. First floor had two bedrooms, full bath, small living room, and kitchen. Plus access to the fenced in yard, which was also great to have with 3 dogs. Met the owner during our stay and he was very friendly and let us know we could reach out if anything was needed.

What a wonderful time! The home had everything we needed and the layout was great for our group of 7! We did not bring our dogs, but we will next time!

This was our second stay at this home and it was just as wonderful as the first. Lots to offer at the home, the beach, and local sites. Our dogs have a secured back yard which is a plus! Check in was easy and the owners are easy to communicate with.

Our family of 6 had a fabulous time on our family vacation at this home. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax (5 couches!) and so many decks to take in the beautiful views of the Bay and the wildlife refuge. We took a few bike rides with bicycles provided with the property. Prime Hook Beach was unique with so many horseshoe crabs and very warm Bay water. Rehoboth Beach was not too far of a drive and we spent a few days there as well as we wanted to experience the Boardwalk and the massive waves at Rehoboth. Don’t expect to DoorDash meals as this location is a bit off the grid (which we enjoyed), and the grocery store is only 15 minutes away. The owner of this home was responsive and helpful. If you are looking for a quiet, serene spot in a quaint neighborhood surrounded by birds and other wildlife, this is it! And pet-friendly, too! Highly recommend!

Four adults and three kids had plenty of space to be together or not. The kids loved all the places to sit and sleep. Great access to beaches. We will be back!

We loved staying at this house. The view of the wildlife refuge is amazing. We were right across the road from a beach that had tons of horseshoe crabs spawning (you’ll only see that in May and June), a fenced in backyard for dogs and three floors with rooms.The owner is very attentive and answers emails fast.

It was great going on a vacation with our mini labradoodles! The fenced in yard made this trip enjoyable. Prime Hook beach gave our pups room to run. Plenty of room on the second floor to hang out. The decks and chairs were very comfortable.Would love to stay again!

It was a great quiet place for some rest

I really enjoyed my stay. The area was quiet and beautiful and I would stay again.I did not partake in the winery experience but it was listed.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, comfortable, spacious house. Amazing outdoor spaces and decks on all levels. The bird watching and sunrises/sunsets were spectacular.

Great place with lots of great views. Fenced yard for dogs was awesome. The house is clean, big and comfy. Anne and Anthony are great hosts.

Lovely getaway. Invited my parents and took our 3 adult kids AND our dog. House was perfect for all of us. Our dog loved the beach! The house backed up to the wildlife refuge and we had such gorgeous sunsets. Fenced yard for our dog was a bonus! We played cards each day while looking out over the bay on the second floor. Neighborhood was mature and well loved. Absolutely loved the third floor bedroom and seeing the lights on the ships at night and the calming views during the day. I would recommend The Nook for lunch and breakfast. We ate there twice.I would go back to Milford just to eat here again! Thank you for sharing your beach house!

Great location for a family get together. It has everything needed. Fenced in backyard made it great for the pups. It was quiet, relaxing, nice for walking. Just anticipated all of our needs. We plan to return in the future.

What a great trip. Primehook Beach was amazing. The best part of the trip was being sandwiched between the bay on one side and the nature reserve in the backyard. Every way I turned there was a beautiful view. Second best part of the trip was how spacious the home is...three levels of living with endless balconies, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and common spaces. I loved the remote location (if you want easy shopping and dining be prepared to drive), the natural beauty, and the easy-going nature of this small and lovely community. My teenage boys loved the trip too. We'll be back.

Jaw dropping views from this magnificent sun filled property! Host thought of everything, from comfy beach chairs, big umbrella, fully stocked kitchen, three tvs’ (but who wants to watch tv when the ocean view is right outside your massive front windows and outdoor porches!)

We stayed for a week in August with 4 adults, 2 kids (1 and 11 months) and 2 dogs. If you have kids I would recommend bringing a baby gate or two for the stairs. We had so much fun! The beach is only a 2 minute walk with an essentially private beach and Ron has a beach wagon already at the house if you’re bringing a lot to the beach. The fenced in yard was great for our 2 dogs. Would highly recommend this home!

I have stayed here multiple times and I can never say enough good things about this home, the location and especially the hosts! Such a safe neighborhood for the kids to just relax and be kids...and more than enough space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable...but cozy and homey feeling at the same time. Checking in is always a breeze and the hosts communication is always timely. I never worry about a thing when I stay here. Relaxing from beginning to end! We can't wait to come back!

In need of some down time, away from hustle and bustle the property and Prime Hook Beach was perfect. The home had plenty of space to relax in with fantastic views from the decks on the from and back. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs. A short walk to the beach made it feel we were right on the beach. Already looking forward to returning
