Stayed Oct 3, 2025Perfect cottage for a family catch up in a great location within walking distance of Keswick, plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and facilities wee excellent. Only drawback is all the garden furniture was decayed and crumbling so nowhere really to enjoy the lovely big (but somewhat overgrown garden). Will definitely live to go back.

Stayed Sep 26, 2025The Lookout is amazing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the downstairs living area is cosy with the log burner roaring, the kitchen facilities are really good, everything you need is there. The younger ones enjoyed the pool table and table tennis whilst the older ones enjoyed the amazing views. Location is great, close to the old railway line into Keswick and there is a pub is less than 5 minutes away. Bus stop just down the road for those tired legs on the way home.

Stayed Aug 22, 2025Beautiful house with amazing ever changing views of the mountains. A bonus that the family with toddler could be secluded down in the lower apartment so that early waking didn’t disturb the rest of the household. And having the pool table was a perfect distraction for rainy days.

Stayed Mar 14, 2025This was our 4th visit and we have booked for 2026. We love the accommodation. It's comfortable, spacious and warm. It suits our needs perfectly as we love walking and being in the countryside. The outside patio area is great, weather permitting - this year we used it a lot. The showers are brilliant and all the beds are comfy. There's plenty of space in the communal areas for eating and the kitchens are well equipped. The garden is pretty with lovely views.

Stayed Jan 10, 2025Everything clean and well maintained, lots of cooking/dining equipment. Large comfortable bedrooms with spacious en suites and plenty of hot water for the powerful showers. Good and spacious driveway parking and beautifully maintained gardens. We didn’t use the games room this time but hopefully will when we return one day!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our third stay at the Lookout and we have just booked for next year. The house is lovely, clean and cosy. It is the perfect space for the 10 of us and an easy walking distance into Keswick. We can't fault it and look forward to returning.
