The Lodge on 385 just South of Deadwood, Easy day trips

Everything about the house was amazing! And talk about well stocked! There was everything you could ever need in that house. It was spacious and welcoming. We loved that we were able to cook outside on the flat top and the smoker. We also really appreciated that there was plenty of room to park our trailers and side by sides. I can't say enough good things about this house and the hosts!

We have stayed in several VRBOs and this one would be top on our list. The host was the best, so accommodating and the house was beautiful and stocked with everything you would need. It was close to so many attractions, Mt Rushmore, crazy horse, devils tower, Needles highway, Custer State Park. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the elk bugling. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful place! Not too far from Deadwood but far enough to be out in the woods. The cabin was clean and decorated really nice. Big garage with games, tv and music. Owners were very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anybody.

Jeri Jo and Kurt are the ultimate hosts. They are like the relatives that you only see every few years and catch up instantly! Now…the “Cabin” is the ultimate retreat. Every amenity is there and accessible. The rooms are big, comfortable and luxurious. The decor is impeccable, rustic and elegant at the same time! The location is perfect for seeing the neighboring towns and historic sites. Everything is within a short drive. For bike week, there is no better location!!!

Easy access to Deadwood and Lead. The construction on 385 made it harder to access the southern hills. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Beds comfortable. It is right off 385 so there is road noise. Host Jeri was so accommodating. We would stay here again!

The sign out front reads this must be the place, it is indeed THE place! Four king beds on one level was the reason we booked this property and the rooms did not disappoint, spacious and beautifully decorated. The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked. Full set of pots and pans of various sizes, cutting boards, baking sheets, serving tray, enough silverware and plates to feed a village. The shop had everything you could possibly need to keep busy on a rainy afternoon. Host is very responsive to questions or concerns. We had a great stay and will choose JoJos Cabin again for our next trip.

Clean and spacious

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this is easily one of our favorites. The owners have thought of everything - it is so unbelievably well stocked. The game room in the garage is a wonderful place to hang out. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. It's only a few short minutes south of Deadwood and within short drives to Rapid City, Hill City and Keystone/Mount Rushmore. Communication with the owners was great. They are very thoughtful.

Beautiful place to stay. In my opinion the pics don't do the place justice.

We stayed in this great home so we could visit the nearby attractions. The house is well-designed and well-stocked. As some of us are older adults we especially appreciated NO STAIRS! There were lots of games and a well-stocked kitchen. Communication was excellent both before and during our stay. Love having the washer and dryer as well. There is some highway noise, but not bad at all. Jeri suggested some restaurants and they were great! Thanks for working with us and being flexible with our relatively late change of dates.

The house was brand new and very nice inside. Unfortunately my family had plans of open areas for the kids to run and play in the grass and just be adventurous. This property being brand new had new sod and hydro-seed with signs on it that said keep off the grass. Also there were signs in the house instructing us essentially to “clean up after ourselves” which should go without saying. There was a play area but it was closer to the owners home which was not pictured in the listing but sat a couple hundred yards away.from the rental house. The highway is also pretty close to the house. After arriving around 6pm we made the decision to find another place and stayed the one night of 4 and spent the other nights in another.

Our family recently stayed at this beautiful home and couldn't have been more pleased! The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. The views of hwy 385 from the front porch were perfect for enjoying a morning coffee and watching traffic or grilling out after a long day of riding. Jeri Jo and Kurt were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They provided helpful local recommendations and were always available for any questions. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

My husband and 83 yr old father-in-law needed an easy accessible place with room for the trailer and bikes and this was perfect! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had anything you would need, and everything was just so nice! Jeri Jo was very easy to work with and a fantastic host! Highly recommend staying here!!

From the first moment I reached out to Jeri Jo, she was so informative and absolutely nice!! The home is stunning and fully stocked with the basics. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the kitchen wonderful!! The outdoor space was beautiful and the only con would be that I would have liked to have been off of the busy highway more. The host is beyond nice and it was a pleasure to meet her in person! I loved her app for the house as well.

We loved our stay with Jeri. Even got to meet her! House was completely stocked, and that was a first for us. It is closer to the deadwood/lead area. So plan on traveling a ways for tourist areas such as keystone/hill city. We didn’t mind though. It was a beautiful area in the black hills national forest. Hopefully will be able to stay there again. Recommend buying the insurance as we needed it for a broken toilet seat.

Three couples journeyed to this beautiful home to enjoy the breathtaking scenery on our motorcycles. The hosts were fantastic! and and and made us very welcomed. us

Could not have even dreamed of a better place to stay. Jeri and Kurt were beyond gracious and accommodating- more like family than hosts. I have never stayed in a place where so much attention was paid to making you feel at home. My only disappointment was that we weren’t able to stay longer. That being said- we will most definitely be back!
