The Little River Farmhouse – Your Smoky Mountain Riverside Retreat

We loved everything about this property! Comfortable, cute, and had absolutely everything. The hosts communicate quickly and clearly, and were helpful with any questions we had. Absolutely recommend for a stay in Townsend!

Spotless, beautiful home with great outdoor spaces as well. Host was welcoming and very responsive when I had questions. A well stocked kitchen, nice grill, and the hot tub was amazing. The master bed was unbelievably comfortable. Everything about The Little Farmhouse was perfect for our stay!

This place was incredible. Location, cleanliness, attention to details, communication; I could go on and on. We come to Townsend about once a year and this is far and away the best place we have stayed. Everything is just as described. We will be back!!

Our stay at The Little Farmhouse was the perfect getaway. The house is nestled on the edge of a vineyard, but just minutes from the center of town. Check in was convenient and Jennifer was the perfect host. She answered any questions we had within minutes. The house was spotless. WiFi access was seamless. Thanks for a great experience.

Our family totally enjoyed the property. Great location and beautiful property with many amenities. The children and adults loved the path to the river where they could tube and the large back yard to play baseball and frisbee golf. The location was close to great restaurants and drivable to Cades Cove and Gatlinburg. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to stay here again.

We have been staying in Townsend for over a decade and this is the best property we have ever stayed at. The house and property were a dream the hosts were so communicative. We will defiantly be staying again.

This cabin is spectacular. It has been well maintained by the owner and is easily one of the best rentals our family has used on VRBO. Jennifer was our point of contact, and I can't speak highly enough about how professional and helpful she was during our stay. If you want to relax in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains in a beautiful cabin next to a river, this is your spot! We highly recommend the Little Farmhouse On the River!

The house was everything we needed to get away with a family of four. Plenty attention to details, things like setting out towels by the door so we could relax in the hot tub after a long drive. Had everything we need to relax either by the fire or by the river. Really close to the national park so we didnt have to drive far.

My son and I came for spring break and had the best time. Great location, close to lots of hikes and attractions. We both loved the river access. And used the hot tub every night after hiking.The owner has thought of everything in this house to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We wanted for nothing. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I needed a weekend to ourselves and that is exactly what we got. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the hot tub. Love that it is on the covered porch so that even though it rained, we still could enjoy it.

This is our second stay here. It won’t be our last either! This beautiful place is nestled in Townsend close to places yet away from the hustle. The views of the morning sunrise is indescribable. The house is set up with so many thoughtful add ons. Inside and out. Thank you from 2 best friends, 1 local and 1 out of state.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect place to have a relaxing family vacation. We loved the river and the hot tub, and had a great time roasting marshmallows in the evenings. My husband and daughter had a grand time gathering black walnuts that had fallen from the many trees around the house. The house was clean and very welcoming. The only problem was we had to leave at the end of our vacation!

Stayed here for our niece’s wedding at Harper‘s Vineyard. It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing.

Lovely weekend! The boys loved the river and the girls loved the hot tub. Evenings were great for grilling and bon fire with s’mores. The accommodations were amazing and very, very clean. Everything we needed was there for us. Hostess was so nice! Even text us when the house was clean and invited us to enter earlier than check in time!

This is our second time staying at Little River Farmhouse. We enjoyed it some much and didn’t want to leave. We plan to be back before year end. Love this place and the location!!

Jjst book it! It was so comfortable and well appointed. They thought of everything, down to the kitchen supplies, hot tub, bathroom amenities, comfortable beds and sheets, yard games, board games, etc. This place is a gem and we will definitely be back.

The Farm House and the land is beautiful.I loved how clean the home was and had all the amenities you would need.Also,the had WiFi.The WiFi was great.So peaceful and relaxing.Their is a trail that goes down to the river.There is a fire place there as well.We had a fire by the river and made s’mores.You can look Little River Farm House up on FB and see our s’mores pictures.I did not take pictures of the land or home and I wish I had.Soo beautiful.The host is charming and very helpful.Vrbo was great as well.I encourage everyone to stay here.We will be back!Also,go eat at the Danceing Bear.So good and it is in Townsend.
