First time booking with Norfolk Hideaways. Loved this house, lovely layout and quiet convenient location for a quiet break over New Year. Total of 4 adults a teenager and 3 dogs. 20 minute walk to fabulous beach. 5 minute walking distance to the Ship pub and a shop is located over the road. Kitchen well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. All appliances good quality. Sky and WiFi good reception. Fab boot room Bedrooms comfortable. 4 bedrooms in total on different levels and would comfortably sleep 9. Downsides- No wardrobe in the main bedroom. Lower floor bedroom/ shower room smelt musty/damp which seemed to clear a-bit once the heating had been on for 24 hours. There was a terrible draft in the front room from the conservatory as open plan and was very cold despite heating and log burner being on. We spent most of the time sitting around the table in the dining area which we preferred. Easy solution would be to fit french doors on to the conservatory rather than heavy curtains which didn’t quite touch the floor. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The lifeboat house was very spacious and well equipped and location was fantastic. The only negative thing I have is that maybe it could have been cleaned abit more throughly I know it allows dogs and that's not a problem to us as we have been in properties before but I don't feel you should be able to know if anaimals have been there before there was lots of hairs in the front room and kitchen. Apart from that but we would still stay again

Spacious house that gave us room to be together or have individual quiet times. Well furnished with good beds. We had a most enjoyable week together. The problems didnt spoil our stay but could have been avoided. We loved the walks to the beach and nearby pubs, Very quiet location and good car parking. The owners rang to help re heating and were concerned their lovely home was clean for us. I list our problems so they can be fixed for future visitors. The house was very cold when we arrived on a chilly January day (had queried the heating prior to booking and been told the heating would be on when we arrived and wood would be available for a fire). No wood so had to drive to buy some. Heating then wouldnt come on the following day, so more wood needed. Norfolk Hidaway resolved the heating the same day. The lounge and and conservatory were one with the conservatory windows providing freezing draughts through large gaps, so the log fire was necessary to keep lounge warm in the evening, spent £30 on wood as a bag a day was used. Pantry was totally full, and I moved nearly empty cereal pkts etc and swept it cleanin order to have room. Need bin collection days listed as they hadnt been emptied so six of us, we like to cook, didnt have room for our recycling. Crockery and glaaes mostly good, but lot of chipped plates and cereal bowls. Another cafetierre and oven gloves and knife sharpener would be welcome.

Great location and spacious living rooms compensated for a few niggling irritations, such as damaged fittings in master bedroom en-suite, standard items not supplied, notably a coffee maker / cafetiere, which we purchased whilst staying and left at property. The house was generally clean, although lower ground bedrooms were very dusty under beds. Downstairs cot fitting broken and no shaving mirror in shower room. BBQ not accessible - two disposables supplied by Norfolk Hideaways. Otherwise a good choice for a family group.

Lovely comfortable, well equipped house. Furnished appropriately for a holiday let, good configuration of beds in each bedroom. Nice having three bathrooms. Excellent location, 3 min walk to a great pub, 15 min walk to beautiful beach. We were 3 generations in one house and it worked beautifully.
